Yes, Its cheap and PBS is awesome, but this is one of the flimsiest kids tabs on the market. The bumper is insufficient in my opinion. It should cover the entire tablet. We bought ours and it was very buggy. Crashing programs, parent's mode did not function properly, and here is where I would really advise against this product...very poor tech support. There are never any managers available "ever", they are on "leave", so they call you back. The warehouse will use any excuse to charge you an additional $60 to send you a replacement. Keep in mind, we bought this tablet on May 6, 2017. However, the problems we were having are not covered under the warranty. Shocking!

The physical design is good. The programs are hard to navigate and very buggy. It keeps telling me I need to validate, which I've done multiple times. It's hard to get from one screen to another and it goes back and forth out of playtime mode. I have kids age 1, 3, 5 and 6 and it's frustrating for all of them to try to use. Also, when charging it makes a loud buzzing noise. Wish I hadn't wasted the money.

In less than a year it wont stay on. Comes up so far and then shuts off. I read about other similar products (kids tablets) and all the negative reviews say the samething - that it just stops working or shuts off. I am leary about replacing - its for a 3 year old so I certainly am not going to get them a kindle or ipad. Wish it worked better because she really liked it.

Thought this was a good tablet.. was for the first month now it runs so slow and wont stay charged. Also Can fully charge it turn it on and literally 5 mins and it shuts off turn it back on batteries still full.

The screen is really washed out and can only be viewed straight on or you can't see anything. The case protector is a joke. It comes off easily and really only slightly protects two sides. The PBS Safe Kids app was really cool though.

contacted customer service for 9 months due to product buggy and never worked. Unable to speak to supervisor due to their protocols.. finally i am in contact with BBB to hold company accountable

After stupidly purchasing a tablet from Walmart, I went to Best Buy to find a better one. My son loves peppa pig and most importantly curiois George. So I thought I'd give it a try. There's my second mistake. First of all, the kids mode is a joke. Second, it asks you to verify. If you don't it will lock your tablet. I have verified multiple times, even called the help line to make sure I was doing it right after it STILL kept popping up that I hadn't verified. It continues to pop up after I verify. Which is annoying. The worst part is, the battery. We take 8 hour trips, I don't expect it to last that long. But after 20 minutes of driving I near the "low battery" sound from him watching Daniel tiger. I will be putting this where it belongs, where all electronics go to perish. PBS, congrats on making a terrible tablet, not quite as bad as Walmarts, but not much better.

My daughter received this in Feb of 2018 and eight months later the battery almost burst. I say almost because the battery didn't tear open, but is really swollen. This caused the two tablet pieces to break apart. Heads up--- the product warranty is only for 180 days from the date of purchase. Not worth the money.

I've had two of these, brand new. First lasted a week. The second lasted about a month. Neither were dropped or spilled on. They both just stopped working. Died and never turned back on. The screen goes black but still lights up. Can't reset it. It's just trash, and I'd never recommend it. Both did the exact same thing so it's obviously just the make/model.

I have purchased two of these and both screens cracked within a week. The tablet glitches non stop and often let my son exit kids mode without entering my email. Ematic (who makes the tablet) has horrible customer service and were down right rude. Please don't waste your money on this.

Bought this for 2 year old. Battery was fine at 1st lasted few hour..after few months drains within minutes. Repeatedly turns off or freezes. Apps are poor quailty. Did hard reset to try to fix issues. This is total junk. Nothing worked. Don't waste your money. Will be buying him something else.

This tablet is horrible, first it takes like 15 mins to turn on & it wont stay charged it has to be plugged up all the time for my son to be able to use it & to top it off the kids mode stopped working. This is my second tablet & they both do the same thing. Waste of money.

horrible. terrible. bad. I got it to work once. other than that, never could get it to connect to wifi. the screen looks like it's from one of the first tablets ever made. returned it and got the kindle fire for kids for an extra $40.

Bought two of these as Christmas presents for our boys. One died within six months. The other has very sluggish performance now. Customer support was not helpful or responsive when connected.

Bought 2 about a year ago for my boys (2 & 6). Didn't work well to start...but since they don't get much tablet time...was sufficient. Went to turn on the youngest's and the battery was 4" think, popped the case apart!! Oldest's only works when plugged in and only some of the time. Warranty doesn't even cover the battery. Wish I would have just bought 2 better quality ones.

Had this tablet for a couple of months when it became very slow to charge and would not hold a charge. Soon it started to swell and eventually split in two. Called Ematic and found out that AFTER I BOUGHT it, they changed the warranty from 1 year to 180 days. Repair would cost a minimum of $65 plus parts, plus cost of shipping.

Don’t buy the PBS kids tablet. The company that makes them will NOT honor the warranty and my son’s stopped working after 3 months. I shipped it back as instructed and have confirmation they received it and they will not respond to my messages. I filed a BBB complaint and they won’t respond to them either.

I bought this for my 4 year old who loves PBS KIDS and was highly disappointed. It started acting up and within a few days the whole system crashed. We tried rebooting it and and resetting the whole system and nothing worked. There was nothing downloaded and all my son did was watch videos. I will be bringing this back to get a refund.

Tablet sucks but rubber bumpers don’t protect from liquid (pis). Loved the peppa pig content, menu options are a bit too advanced for me.
