Battery and Temp are an issue
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall i still use it daily, however there is a trick to it. You can do it two ways. 1. brew the coffee normally and then set the temp to 145 (MAX) and leave it on the charger as you drink until it gets to the set point before traveling with it. You move the temp back down to 130 or so and it should give near 2 hours of life. 2. you boil water and put that in the cup before you brew your coffee into it. Let it sit for about 30 seconds and then trow away the water and brew your coffee. this will get about 1.5 to 2hours as well.

I don’t know that it would take 2 hours to drink a cup of coffee. So for me, the Yeti coffee mug should suffice, especially with the price.

If you are picky about the *exact* temperature, this will work for you (just drink it all within a couple of hours).

I had the Ember mug and enjoyed it, but after a couple years the inside that was originally white was stained brown from my black coffee. Yuck. This mug is metal inside so that won't happen, and it keeps the coffee warmer longer! I'm embarrassed by how much I enjoy having my coffee at just the right temperature.
