Customers are saying

Customers express satisfaction with the 6.5L Digital Air Fryer's ease of use, size, and capacity, frequently citing the convenience and visibility features. However, some customers note that cooking times are longer than expected and express concerns about the warranty information. A few also mention inconsistencies in heating and crispness. The positive feedback on ease of use and size outweighs the negative comments on cooking time and warranty.

I am trying to eat healthier and have decided to give up all fried foods and diligently exercise to. I love the way this makes the chicken look and taste like fried chicken, only thing it’s actually air fried! I love it and have bought two more for family members!

I received this and tried it out. The stirrer that is used to flip over the food melted. I returned it immediately. When I returned it Best Buy was confused as to why it melted. Needless to say I never got a chance to try it out.

Unboxed and a small piece of plastic fell out. Crack on back. Package was not damaged so must have happened in production before being boxed.

Best Air Fryer with plenty of space

I'm not much of a chef in the kitchen but this air fryer makes cooking so easy that it makes anyone an expert. The 6.5L space makes enough food to prep meals easy. With the touch of a button the removable paddle rotates your food while it roasts, bakes, or grills. There is a removable non-stick frying-grill that allows excess oils drain to a capture pan underneath to allow me to cook healthier meals. The Light-up see through screen makes t easy to observe your meal being cooked/air-fried. Definitely worth the investment.

Best Air Fryer of all the I have tried

I was hooked using an air fryer the first time that I Cooked with one. I had tried several different sizes and models, but this one is the best. The large size allows for cooking of multiple items and the window let’s you keep an eye on your food. The stirring mechanism is nice for keeping some food items evenly cooked. I use this air fryer almost every day and it gets heavy use. I gave it four stars because the coating on the tray has recently started to wear. I think it is due to the unnecessary hard scrubbing I use when cleaning it. For the amount of use it gets and the price, I’m not overly upset as I expect things to wear. I bought two and would buy another.

Two thumbs up for a great Air Fryer Oven

I've got to say now that we've had it for some time. The oven has been great. It cooks food evenly and thoroughly. Making fries is a dash, but making tater tots is pretty tricky. When cooking taters make sure you set temp to 400 and on mode "fries", then set timer for 30 minutes. Near the end about 5 minutes left start the stir function. The reason why you wait is because you will smash all the taters if you start the stir in the beginning due to them being soft. So soft that the stir function will just crush them to pieces. So be mindful when utilizing the stir mode. You can remove the "stirrer" to cook other types of foods. The top has a see through viewing and the light turns on and off automatically. You cannot manually turn on or off the light. So while viewing and the light comes on you can see your food being cooked. Took awhile getting used to but it serves it's purpose for the light mode and see through viewer. Very easy to clean. The basket has 3 pieces, the basket itself, stirrer and tray. the tray has holes or a kind of vent style design to let the hot air flow through the oven. The tray lets the grease, oil, fat, smaller food particles down through it onto the basket. The basket catches all that. Quick wash and dry for ready to store away. So simple, so easy, so fast and made of quality. The bottom of the oven has four rubber suction feet, so it won't move off your flat smooth surface for any reason. Quite ingenious if you tell me. Cords a bit short maybe approx close to 4 ft. in length. Box is nice and very informative. Only flaw which really is not a big issue for us but the two buttons that latch the top closed are very sensitive. Any minor push will open the top. The handle props down and props up so you can take the basket out for serving. The max temp for this unit goes to 400 degrees only. We like it that is 6.5 Liters capacity and can hold a good amount of food. It bakes, grills and fry's what more can you ask. This was a steal on daily deal. I think we only paid $40 and some change. Never used Emerald products before until now and must say it hasn't disappointed us yet. I like to shop around and this I must say is a great buy. Thank you Emerald for a great product!

My mom wanted a large air fryer, I was so excited when I found this on deal of the day. I bought it for her and she had good things to say about it but did say it wasn't what she expected. I love and adore air fryers. I was at her house and was using the air fryer expecting time, temperature and outcome to be pretty universal for air all fryers, I attempted to use it the same way I would mine. Food was cold, I had to double the cooking time and it didn't get nearly as crispy as mine. Turns out her 6 qt air fryer has the same size heating element as my 4 qt. Larger basket same power leads to soggy, cold food. I'm so disappointed. I wish I would have known have little power this large air fryer has.

I wanted an air fryer with a larger capacity, and I am not disappointed. I also like the stirring feature and all of the digital presets, they make the cooking easier. Lastly, this fryer is easier to clean than the fryers I have had in the past.

Works great. The arm to rotate food worked great for fries. Didn’t work so well with mushrooms and haven’t tried it with other items. Shrimp, chicken, egg rolls, onion rings, and cheese curds all worked great. Wife tried several chicken recipes and they all worked well. No greasy fingers and clean up was easy.

Love this large fryer. Works for my family of 6. Great for health benefits of Air Frying. Our favorite is homemade French Fries. It is great being able to see your food through the open glass.

I did not want to buy an air fryer because I didn't want it to take up my counter space and I didn't have room in my pantry. This air fryer is totally worth it. I love the window, so I can see the food being cooked. Best of all I love the stir function and having the paddle move the food around. You don't have to use the paddle, but it works great on fries and hash browns and other small food. This appliance cleans up so easily, is easy to use and looks very nice on my cupboard. The basket is large, which is great for our family of 5.

This air-fryer was really good: plenty of space and easy to use. However, it just stopped working after a year and ten months: was used about a hundred times.

I love this air fryer. It's big and holds a lot 6.5L. I don't thing I will use oil again to fry my foods. It's good for fries, baked potatoes and any kind of meat that you want to cook. And, you can cook the best chicken wings...

We were new to the air fryer thing, but this one is very easy to use. We have cooked hamburgers, French fries, sausage, fish, and several other items in it already. It has a large capacity, so we're able to cook for our family. I highly recommend it.

My first hot air fryer was a Emerald brand from Best Buy. It works great and made me a believer in hot air fryers. I bought this Emerald because I wanted a larger capacity. This unit also attracted me because of the stir feature and the window. The interior is indeed huge. First, the stir paddle is poorly designed as It has too steep of a ramp and just pushed the french fries around in a pile (no matter how many or few i tried) instead of turning them over to brown all sides. This leaves me with the same problem most hot air fryers have, needing to open the bin and manually turn or toss the food to brown or crisp the food all the way around. Second, the window is only somewhat useful. From the picture of the unit, I was mistaken that it maybe had an interior light. The only source of light is from the red/orange glow of the heating element. The color makes the food seem to brown but when you open the cover, the food is still pale. Also, the element goes on and off so you cannot always see what is going on inside the unit. I have another unit which is a vertical stacking hot air fryer which does have a regular light source and front window which makes for useful viewing. Today I was going to give the unit another try but, after only a few uses over a 10 day period, the unit is now dead. The digital display does not show any digits or any indication of life. Also, there are no beeps when plugging it in, opening the unit or placing the bin inside the unit. I was disappointed because I had great hopes for this unit. I liked the large interior, the digital display, and that the top opens and is easy to place food in the bin without needing extra counter space to place the bin when you pull it out to load or empty it. But mainly the poor design of the paddle. It may work for round food like tater tots but when cooking straight fries, it broke many, mushed some through the holes in the bottom pan, and as stated above, merely pushed them around in a pile which does not allow the hot air to get to all surfaces of all the fires. I thought it would tumble them and eliminate the need to take out and shake the bin to re-arrange the food.

I got this at a great price on deal of the day. I love this air fryer, its a perfect size, I used to have a smaller one and I had to cook food in 2 batches. I also love that it has a window so you can look at food without having to open the lid. It brings a stirrer that works great for fries. Highly recommend it.
