Long time favorite movie so happy I found it again

One of the top three Christmas movies that there is.

My oldest fell in love with this movie as a child. So it’s become part of family tradition.

This a movie from when my dad was little it's a old Jim Henson movie and low budget but still fun to watch.

This is impossible to find anywhere, and my wife was obsessed. Thank you BB

My family used to watch this every Christmas, we still do when we can all get together.

If you are a fan of Jim Henson then you will enjoy this Christmas Classic.

Recommended at the great price I got it for during holiday sales, but note that this is the edited version without all or most of the kermit the frog pieces. I hope they eventually release the original uncut version.

Item did not come with digital code as advertised. The sent replacement and the replacement had no digital code. Now sold out. Very upset and frustrated. Best buy was no help!

This is a review of the Blu-ray released in 2018 (SKU #34357957). It's THE best version yet! It includes a full-screen version (like the original broadcasts) and a cropped widescreen version for those who are too lazy to zoom the picture themselves on their TV. Kermit is there with his opening and closing scenes. Plus there are numerous extras, including new ones. The only minus for this Blu-ray is that Best Buy advertises it as "Includes Digital Copy"---it does NOT come with a digital copy. Only the Blu-ray is included. However, despite the disappointment over this, it is definitely worth getting.

Emmet Otter has finally made it to Blu-ray! The story as you probably know and love is great. The Blu-ray treatment is good, but if you are expecting it to look 'crystal clear' like a 2018 movie, you will be disappointed. I wish it was better than it is, as I kept hoping the picture would improve as it went along. It's not bad, it's just not great. Colors are a little richer and there is better clarity. An example is the dirt and grime on the Riverbottom gang's car. They also removed the 'wires' to some of the puppets which takes away a little charm. Kermit has his scenes at the beginning and the end. Overall, it is an improvement over the DVD, so if you liked it, you'll love this. 5 stars for being Emmet!

My older daughter is 36. We watched this when she was young. We were so happy to see it on DVD this year. She got it for her kids and I bought it to share with my 14 yr old. It is a heartwarming story with some good songs. Both kids and adults loved it!!

Great Christmas special from my childhood, the kind you want to pass on to others. Definitely enjoy it each Christmas season!

All around family friendly movie. Cute and amusing.
