It took me a while to decide which charger to buy and finally settled on this one. So far I am very pleased. It is very simple. The charger hooked to wifi very easily and the app is very informative and easy to use. I had a professional electrician install the wiring and the charger for me. I was using a level one charger prior to this one and I can say this charges roughly 6x faster if not a little more. I definitely recommend.

I was somewhat skeptical of the Emporia Level 2 Charger but ordered it anyway due to the price point. Others I saw listed with "better reviews" were going for about $100 more. However, I couldn't have been more wrong! After the electrician installed my outlet, it only took me about 10 minutes to install the charger and start my first charging at home. The instructions were crystal clear and even included a link to a video for assistance. But it wasn't really even necessary. I guess I just wanted to make sure I didn't burn the house down LOL. I have ZERO experience with electrical installations of any kind and this is my first EV car. But everything went quite smoothly! Charging is even faster than I had thought. It charged my BMW I4 from 30% to 80% in about 5-6 hours. It even has an app for your phone where you can control charging setting like off-peak times (when it's cheaper), charging limits (for better battery life), and will monitor costs and use for you. You just hook up your car to the charger and the settings will do the rest. It's really been great, and MUCH cheaper than using the Level 3 chargers that cost $20+ per charge! I feel like I'm saving quite a bit compared to a gas vehicle. Better yet, I found out I will qualify for a tax rebate of up to 30% of my cost just by installing it at home. Better for the environment, better cost savings. It's really a win-win. So if you're thinking about getting this charger, all I can say is trust me, it's worth it! One thing to note: the cord from the charger to the wall outlet is only about 2 feet long so make SURE you have the electrician install the outlet very near where you are going to mount the charger!

Have this wired to a 50A breaker and consistently charge a VW iD.4 at around 9.7Kw or 30 miles of range per hour of charge. The app allows me to control the rate of charge and track consumption on a bar graph. This makes tracking impact to electic bill more predictable. The performance has been rock solid for me. I have no complaints about this unit.

This charger works great so far. I love the low profile of this charger. We hired someone to install it, so I can't speak to how easy or difficult that was, but so far we are happy with it!

It was easy to install. So far works as described. Offers better/more reliable control over charging schedules than the software intrinsic to the Ioniq 5 that I own.

This thing can be installed upside down. Mind blown. It can also be converted to hardwired easily. App functionality is better than Tesla. And price is cheaper. No complain.

Works perfect. I really like that it has a big handle to hand the cord. Charges my car in 7 to 8 hrs

Directions/wall anchor are terrible. I have 8 holes in my garage and no charger hung up. The drywall anchors just spin in place. Don't use them or follow their directions.
