It works great on pictures. It says it downloaded contacts. But, it can't decode them. I'm not sure what to make of that. Instructions weren't very helpful; in my opinion. Again, great for pictures and videos.

The device works perfect for expanding memory for a iphone or ipad. It can be used bent/wrapped around the device or in a straight line configuration. 1 con is that It is little larger than a typical usb thumb drive.

Wish this was smaller. Like the interface, but still haven't quite figured out how to transfer my pictures. Every time I think I have done it, when I go to Emtech to look for them folder is empty. Could be my user error, but not real thrilled about this purchase.

I bought this for my mom due to her iphone5 running out of storage multiple times. However, this lightning flash drive was not pleasant to use. Why not just make it simple like copy and paste? No...you have to use an app to move your files. The icons are not self explanatory, it wasted a lot of time to figure out what they did. So, if I took me this much difficulty to figure this thing out, how would my tech challenged mother use it? Would've given it 1 star, but it does work, just not worth the effort.

  You can transfer photos, videos, and music downloaded with iTunes to the iCobra. Since these types of files generally take up the most space on Apple devices it can be beneficial to move them to the iCobra. This also allows for easy sharing between Apple devices, and between Apple devices and home computers.

How can you create a product that is a supposed to store phone images without supporting Apple's HEIC format? Really I don't need to see the images in their app, although if you are selectively choosing pictures it sort of needs to, but attempting to transfer HEIC files to it fail. Renders this device useless.

Bought this to try out and it worked after 3 attempts. Must have free space on iPhone before attempting a backup. Had to delete a fair amount of space in order for it to work. I would say about the amount needed for an iOS update.
