Great, I needed an odd battery for some old camera gear and Best Buy was the quickest place to find it.

I bought this battery for an old film point and shoot several months ago. The battery is still showing no signs of quitting and I do use the camera maybe once a week on average. I was happy when I went searching for this battery I was able to pick it up in person. The price is a little high for a single battery, but if your device is like mine you won't have to change it often.

Film is truly having a renaissance right now, and with old cameras come odd batteries. These batteries are out of stock or backordered everywhere else around me, so I'm very thankful they were available. I picked these up for my new-to-me Canon Sure Shot Tele, and they work great. Canon rates 2CR5s up to 40 rolls or 5 years, and I'm confident in that number.

Good value for the price. The batteries have a long life.

Apparently this is a battery that is difficult to find, glad to be able to pick it up no problem at a Best Buy location without the need to special order.

I'm currently in my 3rd semester of photography at a community college and my instructor wants us to shoot some film camera shots. I picked up a Canon EOS A2E film camera off ebay and needed a battery. I was sure I'd have to get it online, but a quick search and it showed my local Best Buy store had 2 in stock. I went in and asked a clerk as I didn't see any by the cameras. He looked and ask me what it was for and when I told him, he said follow me. We went across the store to the video games section and there was a section full of accessories and the two batteries I was looking for. The packaging on both looked a bit old and he handed me the good one. He said the other one was stapled shut. There wasn't a date on the battery, so for the price I decided to chance it. I really wanted to see if the camera would fire up. I got it home, installed it and tada, the lcd lit up. Thanks for having the battery local for such an old relic of a camera!

My daughter had a college photography class that required a film SLR camera. We found one but the battery was dead. I doubted that I would ever find one for it. Best Buy had the battery in stock and it has worked great!

Battery is working well so far. It has given a new life to an older Canon film camera I have.

It works for my canon eos 650. I usually buy these batteries online but if they have them in store i prefer to get it same day

What can you say about a battery? I use this in an old film camera and works like a charm as expected. One nice feature is the long shelf life especially for a seldom used device.
