It is very small, the light was not very bright and it uses an odd size battery, CR123A, which is more expensive than a regular battery. It has only high, low and strobe, with no method to widen or focus the beam.

I found that if the light ran more than a minute it would get really hot really fast. After 3 months of using maybe twice a week one day I click the on/off button and it crapped out on me. Never worked again even with new batteries. Cannot recommend.

TAC 300 nice but...

It's great along those lines. However, Disappointed in it. The battery wears out so fast. The batteries are very very expensive. approximately $7 each. Did find the Best Buy generic at $10 for 6. Too easy to inadvertently to turn on, perhaps that is partially why the battery wears out so fast. I carry in my pocket, since I need instant access. Nice to have a flashlight that can swap out the batteries without hassle (don't use flashlights that require the 3 AAA for that reason, don't like being left in the dark attempting to swap out batteries).
