Replaces a 10yr old sony 10" . I like the deep base sounds in a 12x24 tv room with a lot of windows. Listened to it in the magnolia room at corbins corner sounded good there and at home.

This sub was a replacement for one I had. It has turned out to be way better than I expected. The price point and quality are excellent . I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Bought hooked it up and was disappointed with the sound. it was nothing like my previous subwoofer which rattled walls and sounded like the house was coming down. Seemed like it should have had the power and it was a good price but just didn't do the job and it was returned.

Very pleased. I paired with a 7.2 Pioneer receiver, and couldn't be more pleased!

Bought this product sight unseen. When delivered it is much too large from living space. I don't know where to put it.

I bought this to replace my old lightning fried SW from the same company.

First Impression; Its LOUD ALLRIght! Then I remebered the break-in period,which could be 2-3 months. No problem. Used in a 4.2 Mid-power stereo,primarily for music. 2-weeks in....better, 2-months in...MUCH better.....now, approx. 5-months in ...Wonderful.!!!! not saying that you need to wait, but in THIS case patience DOES payoff! sounded 'good' right out of the box...but it gets very very good!!! No need to 'crank-it' either.My best results seem to be around 60% gain, set at 45hz. This thing will not only shake the house, but give you some very good detail while doing it!!! spec's seem underrated; I feel some mid 20's hz vibrations 60-feet away!!! EXCELLENT VALUE imho.

I'm a HUGE Energy speaker fan! They make great quality speakers at a really great price point. By far the best value in home audio at the entry/ mid level point. This sub is amazing! Great definition, with tight, accurate bass. Incredible low end extension and adequate power for most environments. I wish the sub came with a wireless remote to adjust level on the fly. Music sounds great, but movies could be overwhelming at the same level...I need to adjust the levels between the two on my receiver. Overall, a really great sub. I highly recommend all ENERGY Speakers. I also have a set of Energy CB-20 for surrounds and bought a second set for my study.

This is my very first home theater subwoofer. So I really don't have anything to compare this too other than what I heard in the store. Comparing both sound and price this was the best for both. The sub was on sale for $300 and sounded great with the B&W speakers I purchased with them. How could I go wrong? My movies sound amazing. Movies rock my house and music sounds amazing. I did listen to the B&W 10" sub but didn't like the punchiness. Not to say it wasn't a great sub. It simply didn't align with what I wanted in a base. Either way I am happy with my purchase.

While it usually lists for $399.99 - $429.99, I waited until the priced dropped before I bought it. I couldn't be happier that I did. Was well worth the wait. Matched it with Energy Take Classic 5.0 Speakers. After the break in period, music sounds great and movies come to life. Subwoofer & Classics performed flawlessly together. You really FEEL the bass as well as hear it. Highly recommended.

I went into BestBuy looking for a sub to put in my room. I wasn't looking for anything high end just something that will produce the low end sounds I like when listening to Soundtracks and smooth pop and jazz. (Michael Buble, Chris Botti.) I went into my local best buy's magnolia home theater section just to look and they had the Energy 10'' sub paired with Bower's and Wilkins. I was originally looking for an 8'' but this 10'' was awesome. I was immediately hooked. They had Buble playing and I was blown away with the smooth bass response from this sub. I decided to wait and do a little research first but I couldn't find any reviews that were bashing it so i decided to go back and buy it. I got the sub home and decided to replace my Velodyne with the Energy. it was easy to set up. I already had a 12'' Velodyne sub wired up so I just moved the Velodyne out and put the Energy in it's place. I have it in a fairly large room and it easily fills the room with deep rich powerful bass. Energy definately exceeded my expectations and I will be going back soon for the C-10 Book Shelves.
