I tried these speakers for LR RR in surround sound and was not impressed. I feel the sales guy had a good idea about these, however for the system they were used in was above and beyond what they could handle. They may function well for a computer or old small stereo but that's about it. I doubt it would have good sound there either.

This bad boys are well worth the price. Crisp clear sound and easy to set up. Makes Bose look small, glad I went with these. Easily handles my Denon reciever and sounds great at all volume levels. You will NOT be disappointed!!

I was really nervous about purchasing speakers I couldn't listen to first, but I decided to go ahead and get these to be my main front speakers in the living room theater setup and they are absolutely fantastic for their size. Despite being smaller than the speakers they replaced, they sound larger. The sound is full, open, and clear. I am using a subwoofer with these, but I actually have it turned way down. I almost don't even need it. After playing them for a week or so they really opened up. Very pleased with their performance. Oh, they look great, too! I'm going to buy another pair for surround speakers!

I am using these as my fronts and rears along with a CC-5 center channel, Pioneer Elite VSX-31 receiver and a Velodyne DLS3750R Sub and I love these speakers, the sound is clean and crisp with no distortion at high volume, now don't get me wrong , they are not tower speakers so for music you will need a sub for bigger sound but as apart of a surround system they are awesome. the build quality is really good, I don't think the pictures do them justice, they are much nicer in person, they compare to speakers that are much more expensive and speaking of the price, it can't be beat! Energy all the way!!!!

I bought these to use as surround speakers...and to match up with my Energy CB-20 mains and CC-1 center speaker. These speakers look great, and sound amazing!

Big sound for the size of the speaker, I live in an apartment, no need for woofer, sound is really good. compared them to a set of Polks, same size, no comparision, sound is way better!

I just purchased these a month ago and let me tell you these babies sound great. After the 100 hours of breaking them in the sound is amazing. Who needs Bose when you can buy Energy? Hope you enjoy your new speakers I know I am.
