I'm only giving it a poor rating because it has still to work. About 3 weeks after receiving it, I finally set it up. But the subwoofer couldn't connect to the sound bar. Called Energy customer service, they seemed really nice. Couldn't fix on phone, they said it was probably a bad transmitter. Energy said box it back up & take to Best Buy so they could swap it out. But I bought the black tie 2 year extra protection plan. That's where I screwed up. Took it to Best Buy, they said they would send it off to get repaired. Took about a week and a half, but I got it back yesterday. Tried to hook it up, now the subwoofer sounds like it is blown. Best Buy says to bring it back in. Are you kidding me?!?! So I still have yet to hear it!!!!!!

I'll have to build a 6" shelf above the TV to keep the TV at under 13'. It's worth the trouble to build the shelf.

This was my first blu ray DVD player I purchased when I bought a new TV also. Great picture.

I returned and purchased the model without sub much cheaper.

HAVE TO ATTACH TO CABLE BOX AND THERE IS A SOUND DELAY. WILL NOT WORK FROM TELEVISION. MY TV IS A SHARP MADE FOR BEST BUY. CAN NOT GIVE ANY GOOD RATING OR BAD RATING BECAUSE I CANT USE

So glad I purchased this sound bar. I went to my local Best Buy just to help my step dad find a new tv. After looking at some models we asked the tech to let us her some sound bars. A few weren't hooked up. So, she took us in the theater room and let us hear this bad boy. We were completely in awe on the sound it gave off. He bought one and after convincing my wife, I did too!. Super easy to set up. I was a little confused on how the the digital optical thing worked at first. I was thinking, "why didn't it come with a remote"? Then I simply used my directv remote and was instantly more than happy. Great sound bar. To make it all better, the store I went to had it on sale for $279!!! Definitely worth the money.

Bought this unit to supplement the TV sound from my new Samsung plasma. Produces great sound quality for my small living room. More than adequate for my purposes (maybe even overkill). There is a larger unit available for bigger spaces, but I think this unit will do the job for most living spaces unless your a super sound freak. I'm completely satisfied. Waiting for the new Samsung blue-ray players to hit the shelves to really test out the sound.

Bought this only because it was the daily deal. A little because of good reviews but still, because it was on sale. I thought I would use it on my new 50 inch Vizio I just bought for a second TV. I only mention the second TV because the first is a projector running 7.1. This nor any other soundbar I could imagine could ever in any way compare sonically. But of course, thats not what its for. The wife and I mostly watch netflix on this TV. You cannot watch a TV series on this. Any pause at all and the unit powers off then right back on. Each time it has a huge "pop" from the sub. Very annoying! So, I run the TV speakers too, set close to the same level as the sound bar. Somehow the two sync up so, I don't loose dialog, I only have to deal with the pop at the change of every single scene. If it only had a longer delay before shutting down, like say, ten seconds, problem solved. Otherwise, if it weren't for this issue, it would be decent. The sound isn't too bad for a plastic tube with speakers jammed in it. Along with the sub, it does sound a little better than the TV speakers but not much. Certainly not full price better, really not sale price better either. It may enhance some TVs more than mine, though, mine actually sounds pretty good alone in the room its in. **I have yet to use the analog connection. Possibly this will help the issue but, I didn't pay that much for it to not be able to use the optimal connection.

I listened to a whole bunch of soundbars before purchasing the Energy Power Bar soundbar. And I am not disappointed. This soundbar is absolutely great. I have had many of my friend that comes over to watch the games and are impressed by the quality and effect it adds to TV. I was actually considering purchasing another Energy Power Bar soundbar for my game room.

Great speaker which is loud and great when watching movies and sporting events.

I recently bought the Energy Sound Bar for my apartment to go with my LCD TV and iPod. I had some difficulty with setting it up as my TV lacks an optical output. I had to order a digital coax to optical converter on-line. Once I got the converter, the setup was easy. The sound is very good for both music and TV. The bass is pretty good and the sound bar automatically located the subwoofer. I wish that it had bluetooth but I was able to easily connect my iPod. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it over all the other sound bars that I heard.

This Energy sound bar looks and sounds great! Not so sure why its so big with 2 tiny little speakers in it though.

Again, we were led in the right direction by our sales associate on this purchase. The energy bar provides a much better experience for anything you watch.
