    I've only owned this air filter for 4 months now, but I'm very happy with it. The silent mode is truly that. Even the next higher mode is very quiet. I have this within 4 feet of a tv and no problem. I just took the filter out and see they added a fine wire mesh screen in front of the element plates. Nice idea, easy to clean without water, just a lint free rag. We had 2 of the lesser version of this air filter, 1 died after 3 years of constant running so I bought this to replace it. So far so good.

    My allergies lightened up immediately when I turned this on in my house. It makes it so I can take deeper breaths. I have a lung condition and allergy issues, and this thing is a must. Highly recommend.
