I like this laptop, but not as well as some I have had in the past. It is very heavy after having a smaller one, but I purchased it because I like the convenience of having a DVD drive

the salesman was so nice and recommended this computer--the geek squad people are terrific and set it up and fixed it when i was a dummy and put in into sleep mode and couldnt wake it up best buy is best place to buy a computer

I needed a new computer, and realize that HP is the way to go..wanted one to do a number of things..and this beauty is it. I am still learning all that it can do, so I can't be more specific. However, the support at HP is really great, and I can contact them at any time.

I don't see much difference from my previous HP which had the mother board crash twice - purchased this unit to replace rather than spending another $400 to replace the second crashed mother board and junked the previous unit.

I love this computer once I FINALLY learn how to use EACH AND EVERY facet of this PC. Old XP habits die hard. I still have much to learn...just when i think i have it learned, i find something else that trips me up.

It freezes up occasionally, it doesn't too often but if you're watching a movie (like I was both times) and you have to turn the laptop off and back on it's a little annoying. Other than that it's a great laptop!

Not crazy about the font size of the icons. I had the same size HP before and the icons were not as small. It is at the recommended setting and print and icons are tiny. What is the point of a large screen??

I had trouble deciding between this and an ASUS. I am really happy I bought this instead. I love the size of this laptop! I am so glad I bought this!

This laptop is underwhelming for all the hype about it's components and features. By all measurable standards this should be running my programs with no problems or issues, yet my 8 year old XP machine runs them faster and smoother than this brand new machine. I am getting ready to return it. In addition HP's support is awful. I have made multiple attempts to talk with HP and have had no response. The one Geek Squad person I spoke with was not much better. She indicated that I was expecting too much out of it. Out of expecting a brand new machine to out perform an 8 year old system?

comp. is all right EXCEPT that, for some reason does not accept full functioning of my kaspersky security program. disappointed at the fact that when best buys installed, they never mention this deficiency.

Bought it for my wife to use for her small business. Other than a few calibration issues with the touch screen she has had ZERO complaints. Updating drivers seem to have fixed the touch screen issues

The specs on paper for this laptop are great! powerful CPU, RAM, and Video Card; however, the build quality is really low. For starters, the whole case has a very flimsy plastic feel to it, the edges (especially where you put your fingers to open and close the lid) are super sharp and jagged. The CD tray feels extremely flimsy, more so than other laptops I've used, and I seriously doubt it will last very long. It's a decent trade off for the weight and price of the laptop, but if your not the careful type with your devices, this will probably fall apart on you very easily.

I bought this laptop because it had all the features I needed: a 17" HD tough screen, tons of RAM and hard drive space, very fast integrated graphics, and an internal DVD. The case is metal and it looks great. I am happy with my purchase.

Not a big fan of touch screens, but didn't have much of an option with this one. That said, it's a solid option for a 17" graphics workstation. Extremely happy with it so far after a couple months.

Good sound and video. I use LibreOffice and other open source products and there is a very clean interface. It seems very adaptable. Even with my slow wifi, it connects quickly. I am trying to make sense of the preinstalled Windows 10.

My Hp - Envy 17.3 Touch-screen Laptop - Intel Core I7 - 16gb Memory - 1tb Hard Drive is great. The natural silver finish doesn't show fingerprints and the back lit keyboard keys is awesome. Highly recommend this computer to anyone.

Laptop works well. No problems, although CPU seems to max out utilization rather easily. Keypad a little "touchy", and insertion point sometimes jumps around. Otherwise, good computer.

I would recommend this laptop to any consumer. It's user friendly and the touch screen feature is the absolute best. The 17" screen is a plus and helps to expand the viewing capabilities.

I am in school full time online. This laptop is awesome with the dimming quality when the lighting changes when reading literature. Easy on the eyes. So much storage space. Picture quality and sound is a great asset.

This is an amazing computer and very powerful. It a memory capacity is breathtaking. Only downside to it is that it's a bit slow. Other than that it is a great piece of equipment
