I was torn between this computer and a Mac. I bought this because of the awesome memory alone but when I got it home it froze during set up and since I couldn't remove the battery it never reset regardless of how many times I turned it off/on. I can't really say if it would be a good purchase because I never got to use it, but doesn't that already say a lot...? (Sportscenter jingle)

I had this computer less than 3 weeks when, on a Friday afternoon, it decided it likes living elsewhere, checked out and left the screen black. No amount of restarting, shutting down would wake it up. Went back to Best Buy in not the best mood. I will say, they were extraordinary in their response. They replaced the HP with a Dell of the same size. Unfortunately, the Dell doesn't have the built-in CD unit and has only 12 of the 16 gigs of Ram I had with the HP, but....This one works.

This laptop had all of the specs I was looking for (with a graphics card and a DVD drive) and worked well enough before it would no longer boot. It also would frequently not wake up from hibernating a lot of the time. Good luck with hp's "Customer support" I couldn't navigate their mobile site to get anywhere where I could reach a person. Best Buy Geek Squad now has it and I can say I'm glad this laptop was purchased locally.

This computer does not play the games I was told it would play. I will be returning it for a better gaming computer.

Compared to other HP computer purchased prior, this one fails to deliver. Frequently locks up and have to let battery run down to restart. Only two programs have been installed so that is not the problem. For a brand new laptop, it functions like Win 98. My next purchase may be an Apple product.

I would not recommend this due to the battery. The battery life sucked! It drained so quickly and I wasn't able to to do anything hardly without having to plug it in for most of the use.

It's a great computer. Good display screen for everyone to see. The technology inside it is update.

This was my 3rd or 4th HP laptop I bought from Best Buy. But it seems like each of them wound having a dead pixel within a couple of days including this one. I thought if I bought from the store than the website I wouldn't have that dead pixel issue but I was wrong. I was tired of returning and getting a refund on nearly a weekly basis so I quit trying to buy any laptop at any Best Buy and went to buy at Walmart instead. I Bought an HP laptop from Wal-Mart and I haven't seen a dead pixel yet.

Where do I start... Keeps freezing up and running slower every day. I would hook up to my Ethernet cable but I'm afraid that I would break the laptop if I every had to remove it. Hard to believe I paid so much for so little.

its a lil bit slower to be a intel 7 and the Gforce graphics are not really good

It's much slower than I would like. The camera only works half the time.

Battety Life is not 9 hours. More like 3 if that.

This computer does not have great graphics, takes over 8 hours to install updates, does not work well with my companies OMS system, and is basically a big disappointment.

I believe the major problems have originated with Windows 10. The HP Envy laptop may be okay but I can't get beyond the Microsoft Windows issues.

I bought this Item 3 times, and returned it all three times. Absolutely horrible. A 1 star rating is too high for this product. Different problems on every single unit. It drove me crazy. I would never buy another HP again, and hope no one else does..Go buy a 27" Mac like I did, and I've never been happier. Thats how I posted this review, If i still had my HP, I wouldn't be able to. Thanks Apple!

Right out the box and it's running every program slow, online suggestion say to give it a week to see better results, results have not gotten better, it is as slow as a 1997 computer and I have no idea why it's like this
