This Epson Three-Color printer cartridges pack it adequate. A few years ago, I purchased my ($100.00) Epson printer. (I really only needed it for simple small printing capabilities, along with a combination of scanning & faxing applications.) The printer came with all four colors. (Black, Cyan, Magenta & Yellow.) Those cartridges lasted the absolute longest out of the several scores of these printer cartridges that I've had to purchase over time. These newer versions of these printer cartridges do not last long at all! (Maybe 50 one-sided plain printer pages. No high gloss photo prints or anything comparable.) I've even purchased several that basically printed 15-20 one-sided pages of Organic Chemistry Labs and had low ink warnings. (Very disappointing!!!!) However, even for the short comings of these Epson printer cartridges these specific ink cartridges do however have a phenomenal printing quality. The colors are robust, they don't smear or run and on photo paper they do produce a high quality print. I would recommend these cartridges, but that recommendation would come with a caveat. (And that caveat would be that you need to be aware of the probability that the cartridges will not last as long as the packaging states.) Other than that this is a decent printer ink cartridge....

Epson doesn't live up to the Hype

I am so disappointed in Epson-Seiko. Ever since I was in the photography business, I bought Epson printers. Total I have owned over 10 models (+ two of them twice!). Each time they ever so slightly change the cartridges to force one into buying more ink. Nothing really new here with ANY brand as the consumables is where they get you. This unit has been one of the worst. WAY, WAY overpriced ink and each time you insert a new cartridge, it has to "charge" (i.e, use some ink.) Then it has missing text (mind you, Epson's use a new head with each new cartridge!) forcing one to clean (THE BRAND NEW!) heads. OK, so a full cartridge, new head and everything is clean. Now I am down to 60-75% of an ink cartridge that costs about $10-15 each. Now I can start printing. Oops, I didn't use it for a couple of days, so now I need to clean the heads again due to missing text. OK, now down to 30%. In the end, it probably costs about $.25/page. SO I get frustrated and buy more ink or a different printer. This is the last time I buy an Epson. At least you save 10% when you get it from Best Buy.

Although I'm happy with my printer and its ink products I cannot say the same about Best Buy's Sales Associates. In fact, this last time I purchased more ink for my printer, I suspected I was overcharged so checked with Customer Service before I left the store, and it turned out I was most definitely overcharged. The product I purchased was advertised as being on sale, but the person who rang me up did not deduct the correct percentage for the sale, and that was even after I showed her both of my Best Buy cards. To make a long story short, Best Buy's Sales help seems to be deteriorating by the day, and I now really avoid shopping there unless I absolutely have to.

This epson printer is fine, but I thought the benefit of having the black ink and each individual color as a separate cartridge would be that the printer can still function without one of the colors, or it would be easy to just print B&W only. It is not easy at all to print B&W only, the printer won't let you, without changing the settings, and the instructions that they give didn't work for me. If one of the colors is out, I'd prefer for the printer to print, regardless, even if the colors aren't right. I don't need color specific printing for most of the stuff that I print at home, so the darn thing shouldn't shut down because I'm out of cyan...

It was refreshing to find out that I could purchase the colors of my printer ink separately. I was never informed by any one at your store that they were available, I had been purchasing the 3 and 4 color packs and have an overabundance of YELLOW. I was at an ofc. supply store to purchase something else, but mentioned the problem and was informed that the colors can be purchased individually. HOOOOORRRRAAAAYYYY . The only problem I have found is that your prices are twice the amt. than at the ofc. supply store. ( I have written this in my review before, and you do not include it when you post it)

Use genuine Epson inks for the best results

I used to use "generic" inkjet cartridges because I didn't think their ink was any different than the ink Epson has. Until one day I was looking back through some old documents and saw how faded and blurry those cheap inks became over time. I was also discouraged with how often I had to clean the printer heads when using those "generic" inks; and cleaning the heads uses up your ink, so I wasn't getting as many pages printed as the genuine Epson inkjet cartridges do. With ink, I am a true believer - - you DO get what you pay for. I now use only genuine Epson inks for the best results from my Epson printer.

While I really do loathe the fact my already-expensive printer requires 4 different inks to function (and the fact my children seem to print everything under the sun, which bleeds them dry faster than I'd like), I do like the fact that Best Buy often has members-only discounts and sales, which makes purchasing ink less painful. I have yet to determine if buying the 3-pack (as not all colors run out equally, but similar) is more cost efficient than buying as needed; but in the meantime, I am able to keep my ink supply stocked which is important if you actually want to use your printer :P

I love Epson, I got a wireless printer and this is the ink it requires. I love it because of the three separate colors, and you can replace only what you used. I notice however that if you leave your printer on, the ink heads of the cartridges clog and you have to clean them through the printer settings. This wastes ink, but at least the cartridges are cheap so your not wasting money. If the printer is turned off between uses there is no problem, but I always forget.

I have been using Epson printers for many years and always use Epson ink. I do feel the quality is good. I usually always buy the extra capacity. I wanted to buy ink at Best Buy since it was on sale but was disappointed that all that was available was standard capacity. I feel all printer ink is overpriced so not being able to get the better value with the extra capcity was unfortunate. I did buy the standard size, but will be searching for stores that carry the extra capacity next time.

I purchased, took home and installed asap. used the printer as I always do, printed off 5 pages of text no pictures. 15 minutes later, I go to print another report and the printer ink shows the ink cartridge is almost empty, I printed 1 page, again, text only and TADA, now the cartridges are empty. I had also purchased and installed a black cartridge as well, using grey scale and it to is empty. $50 for ink that showed up as half empty cartridges when installed and now I am totally out of ink.

This is fine ink if you insist on continuing to use an inkjet printer and are able to use it quickly enough that it doesn't just dry out between printing needs. That's no longer true for me, I guess. Because I will sometimes go for weeks between needing to print, I've been forced to replace my ink far too often. That means that next time, I'm buying a laser printer. This is the last time I'm wasting my money on inkjet cartridges...

    Becoming disappointed in Epson

Following the use of a 2-pack Hi-capacity Epson-200 BLACK package, I have been unable to clean/align "black" in my WF-2540 printer enough to print black unless I fool the printer into thinking I'm using photo-paper. The head cleaning process uses so much ink ( -all colors-) I'm going broke just keeping any ink in the machine. Have been with Epson for 13-yrs, but looks like I'm going to HP, or probably CANON. Too bad, but I guess the honeymoon is over......

Buying the multi-color box is both convenient and cost effective. Cartridges work as advertised. If your Epson printer works anything like mine, you already know that the option to print with black ink alone does not work, nor will it work when any of the color cartridges are empty. Therefore, having all colors on hand makes it convenient when a cartridge decides it's going to lock up the whole print option. Buying in a multi pack makes it cost effective.

Great printer cartridges at a very reasonable price. Cartridges last a long time and the colors are very brilliant. I only wish the printer gave more advance warning before cartridges run out of ink and machine shuts down. Overall I love the printer and the remote wi-fi print feature from my smart phone is awesome. My only complaint is that I bought replacement cartridges during the holidays and it took 17 days to ship items from Warehouse in TX to my home in CO.

This cartridge is the recommended cartridge for use with my printer. As a result in absence of a defect, I expected it to perform well. What makes this purchase good was the convenience of buying it at my local Best Buy store and the price was not only comparable to other stores, it was better in some instances, and most importantly when your printer is out of ink and you are completing a printing job, it is good to know the item is in stock!

I am so happy with this microwave, The sensor cooking is a fantastic feature. Last night I made baked potatoes and was extremely surprised at how good they came out. Usually cooking potatoes in the microwave they come out yuck, These were moist and perfectly cooked. Today I reheated some leftovers and used the sensor cooking for a dinner plate. The food came out moist and perfect temperature. Very happy with my purchase.

I found this product to be not so great! Not that it was any fault of best buy, it's Epson. I don't really print all that much and I shut my printer off between most jobs and yet I chew through this ink. I have bought several multi packs and find that I am consistently stuck with one color out of the pack that just doesn't get used (the same color too). I wouldn't buy another Epson printer and would recommend anyone else doing the same.

unfortunately all i wanted was a magenta ink, 2 to be exact, but single cartridges either aren't carried here or were not in stock. i like multipacks for 1 time purchase only, because after that, varied colors get depleted faster than others. for example, i have 3 cyan, 3 yellow, and 1 magenta right now (i exclude black). the best buy card membership gives a % discount off ink which is nice though, and i should eventually use the extra ink i have...

I bought this product in place of what I actually went to the store for, because the store was sold out of what I needed. It was a little more expensive to buy color and black ink separately but solved my problem of being completely out. I did experience some issues with the black cartridge not printing correctly when I installed it and had to reinstall several times. Still is not printing very dark, but it is good enough.

i dont use my printer that much and find that the inks dries up . I then have to clean the heads couple of times and i waste precious ink. I may have already printed 20 pages before the ink is out. I see this problem more often with black ink. The printer that I bought was a wireless WF 5430 . I was hoping I would save some money on ink but boy I was wrong. I have stopped printing all together from home
