I keep trying to go to Office Depot to buy ink, it's closer and has recycle program for empty ink cartridges. However, they never have the ink I need but Best Buy always has what I need so I've quit trying Office Depot. I am disappointed that Best Buy has discontinued their ink discount program.

Not really a lot that can be said about this product. This is a black ink cartridge for Epson printers. Comes in a sealed plastic package inside a cardboard box. The actual cartridge has a removable plastic cap that needs to come off before it can be installed.

So easy to use in my printer.. Just drops right in.

so I don't have to replace as often Plus I think u get a cost break

This just happens to be the ink that is required for my cprinter

Epson makes a nice printer, ink cartridges easy to insert. I would only recommend that Best Buy carry the XL cartridges for printing needs. This would help reduce nozzle charges and the wasted expensive ink associated with charging the printer with cartridge replacement.

The crispness of the black is nice, however this cartridge does not allow many pages to be print before the printer warning pops up requiring the cartridge to be changed. Too high of cost for such small output.

Okay, just wished it lasted longer.Next time I'll try 273XL.

Ink does not last long for the money. Have to have it though.

I have yet to find refills for inkjet or laser that perform as well as OEM. They do perform really well. My only complaint is that it still seems baffling to me that you can nearly replace an inkjet/laser printer for the cost of the replacement cartridges.

The ink is fine but this printer drinks the black ink quite rapidly. I can never find a high capacity cartridge and there is a separate printer black cartridge...not sure the point of that. The print quality is good though.

This and most cartridges we purchase work great from the beginning but we did get one that just did not - manufacturer defect. We had had it a couple months prior to trying to use it so did not have a receipt and therefore were simply out the money it cost.

As is the case with most Epson ink, the printer seems to drain the cartridge way to fast. The XP-610 I have seems worse than normal in this regard. That said, very nice print quality...while it lasts.

Black Cartridge worked fine. I go through a lot of colors cartridges and black cartridges with my epson color printer despite not printing much. I wish i would have bought an all black printer and not waste so much money on colors for my mostl black printing.

I love my Epson printer. I don't use it every day, and therefore these basic size black inks are plenty for me without purchasing the XL ones. I dont feel it goes through any more (or any less) ink than any other printer I've had in the recent past.
