The smaller ink cartridges run out quickly - so it is better to buy the "XL" size of this item, rather than the smaller one. However, the Epson branded ink is no different than a generic one, so worth exploring no-name brands to save on costs.

Meh. It’s ink. Hate the fact that the printer just doesn’t print black bad white without all the other colors. Meaning you can’t just buy black and expect to print.

It is a complete 'racket'. No wonder why they sell the printers (themselves) for so cheap. In no time you end up spending 10 times the cost of the printer on ink. I know this is not breakthrough information but it bares repeating.

I bought this for my Mom with a gift of a printer and it dried up before she could use it, so I had to purchase a replacement. They are less expensive than other brands.

I've been purchasing Epson printers for a while mostly because they are affordable. It is a shame however that the manufacturer seemingly releases low efficiency ink. That said, once the printer is setup it works as advertised.

There are little to no choices when needing an ink cartridge. You either buy the name brand or not. Best Buy carries the cartridge for my printer. I appreciate being able to walk into the store and get what I need.

Great Black ink that fits my printer, cheaper and the same quality had HP ink which is the last printer I had so a big plus there.

These single black cartridges are used up too fast. Unfortunately the last three trips to Best Buy, (one of the few places that carry them), the XL cartridge is not available. I am going to start ordering the XLs online.

Works perfectly and lower cost than the larger refill. Always good to have a spare on hand especially when in school season.

The ink cartridges are soo expensive but what are you going to do, you have to have them in order to print the things that you need to copy or print.

The ink I purchased was relatively inexpensive compared to other places but my Epson printer doesn't seem to utilize ink efficiently. I would maybe go with the large capacity next time.

When brand new, it's fine but the ink doesn't last very long. And it's much more expensive to buy just the individual color rather than the combination pack of ink replacement colors.

This ink doesn’t work as well in my printer as the XL version for some reason. It gets the job done but I get smudging and skipping with this version until I have printed a few pages.

Not sure how to rate. Purchased some generic, refurbished cartridges that my printer didn't like... so I decided to give these a shot. Likely just my printer, but let the buyer beware...

Easy to replace. However, ink dries up in cartridge too quick if your not continuously printing. 175 page print capacity is questionable as well.

I usually by ink one level higher, but it was out of stock so I got this one instead. It now does not want to work, and I have to use special settings to get the ink to show up on the paper

The ink works great. Some times when it says it is low and I check it, I feel as it still has ink it. But still good quality ink.

I will purchase again in the future, Bought this for my mother, who loves to print. Replacement was a breeze.

this cartridge is working fine. This size empties fast. We I could have found a large size.
