Q: Can you use Epson ink cartridges 200 & 288 in the same printer?
A: The chip pops off pretty easily, and back on. Just saying.
A: The I stands for "Initial". Just to get you started. and then when you purchase the 288 that has more capacity
Q: Is there a difference between Epson ink 288 and Epson ink 288-I?
A: Yes, that being the 288i has less ink inside it than the standard 288. The 288i is included with new printers to get it all set up and printing out a few pages. Then it's time to buy proper cartridges. Then you have the 288xl, that one just holds more ink. Costs more upfront, but more efficient and less costly all in all.
Q: Can my Epson xp446 be used as a sublimation printer?
A: Yes, an EPSON XP446 can be used as an sublimation printer. I have one that is converted into a sublimation printer. And I have not have any major problems with it.
A: YES it can. I don't know why people answer questions when they don't know what they're talking about! The response that said "I'm assuming" is wrong! The XL does not mean the cartridge is larger, it means it contains more ink. Both fit the Epson Wireless XP-440.
A: yes, the XL just means it is the larger of the ink cartridges giving you more pages.
A: Yes, that’s what I have and I use these cartridges.
A: Hi Bullie, It is necessary that all ink cartridges be installed and have at least a minimal amount of ink. This prevents air bubbles from getting into the XP-440's permanent print heads. Air bubbles can cause nozzle clogs and potentially damage the heads. If you use the free Epson iPrint app, you have the option of selecting monochrome to print in black and grayscale rather than color. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.
