getting the right product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Some years ago when the printer was new, I didn't take my printer manual and asked a rep what ink cartridge to get, so got 288 color (thinking black would be included). I just decided to use my work printer, too complicated. I recently returned to buy an ink cartridge (not going to the office these days), so again got a 288 but when I went back to the manual for directions it said 88 was the correct one.

Cartridge was not full

Need to purchase the XL

The ink doesn't last of course and it's of absolutely terrible. Splotches, blurry, not in good contract and the color ink is even worse then the black. Might as well pay the extra $$ for the better known HP with the same amount of ink but with their superior printers
