My printer only takes this type of ink cartridge in black. It works, but if you are a heavy user in printing, you might want to purchase other model of printer since this cartridge has only limited ink.

The ink cartridge are a good price, and when I need more I will come back to buy more ink. I have bought 2 ink cartridges in the last few weeks.

I have been using Epson products for almost 20 years now and will continue to do so for many years to come. You can't go wrong with epson

for some reason the black ink cartridge has to be cleaned etc. to work while there are no problems with the color cartridges

It's ink. What is it supposed to do? It works well, it lasts until it doesn't. It's Epson ink. Just use it in the right printer and life is good.

I am glad the black ink is sold separately from the colors because I go through a lot. Cant really say I have any complaints because I don't have much to compare it to.
