    The Epson inks last longer than the after market brands. The Epson also seem to communicate with the printer better as well.

    My printer died. A friend gave me an old printer that was just sitting in her garage. I didn't know if anyone still carried ink for it. I went to Best Buy and told them what I needed. Low and behold I didn't have to buy a new printer.

    There's a lot of third-party inks out there, and since they're often much cheaper than the real Epson inks, they're very tempting. But you don't always know what you'll get as far as quality with them. These Epson ink cartridges are always solid and I never have any issues. I won't always pay full price for the real thing, but I admit I'm never disappointed when I do.
