The best part is not having to replace ink cartridges because they have past their expiration date. Have had this printer over a year. It does not get heavy use. There is plenty of ink left. And the extra set of bottled ink won't expire before I can use it. Love knowing that the printer won't just stop one day because of a date rather than a real technical issue. I would recommend paying the extra and getting the touch screen which I didn't do.

I have had the printer now for about 4 months and print about 30 pages per month. I have replaced thin ink cartridges once in that time frame. Scan quality is good as well. I would recommend this printer. I had an epson xp410 with perpetual problems. This printer is a breath of fresh air. It is primarily for home use.

I love the ease of two-sided printing, and although the pictures are NOT quite as soon as my KODAK printer was, it is still good. Two CONS: Hard to turn off. You have to select on/off button, and then shift to yes and confirm. And you cannot easily resize what you want to print. There are only programmed features you have to choose from preset from the manufacturer. But what if you only want 10% smaller, or 12%, there is no easy customizing allowed.
