Low maintenance. Huge ink storage. Worth the price

Overall great prints, function, and install. A bit expensive but love the idea of refillable ink.

This is my 4th printer in as many years; in the first 4 months of owning it I can say that I am happy that I spent a little more this time around. I don’t print a ton, but having the ink reservoirs is really nice. You get plenty of ink right out of the box. Also, setup was a breeze.

Good option to replace old HP printer. Works well for kids doing school projects.

The ET-3700 is a large EcoTank printer. No more cartridges! Instead you get big ink bottles, that you empty into the printer, for thousands of printed pages at a time. Unpacking the ET-3700, one thing that struck me right away is how much lighter it is versus my older Brother printer. Setting up the printer was very quick. First remove all of the packing tape, fill up the ink tanks, plug in the printer, and let it do its thing. Filling the ink tanks had me a bit nervous. I expected to have ink all over me, the printer, and room. However, Epson has special nozzles on the bottles that forces you to properly position the bottles to minimize any mess. Of course, future ink purchases will require the same type of nozzle to fill the printer. So, I expect these will come only from Epson. Hopefully these will be fair priced. After filling the printer with ink, the next step was to let the printer charge with ink for the first time. This is a 10 minute process. After that, you finish loading the remaining ink (they give extra for this process). Following the ink loading process, the next step is to install the drivers and configure wireless. This is a standard process, and went very smoothly with no hiccups. A touchscreen display could have made this even faster, but we’re talking about a 1-2 minute difference. The entire setup process was about 20 minutes. 10 minutes was to let the ink charging take place. The only issue I had with setup, was downloading firmware updates. For some reason, the printer itself would not connect and download the updates. The workaround was to use the PC firmware updater (this is also part of the normal installation). Using the printer is easy enough as well. You should definitely pay attention to a bunch of features that you can use with this printer. Scan to cloud is great! I configured the printer so that it will scan to my DropBox folder. This allows me to access the scanned content via my mobile, desktop, etc. Anywhere I have DropBox configured! Very useful! You can also configure automatic printing from an email address. Basically, create an email address on Epson Connect, and then when you want to print a document, just forward the email to that address. Testing this with an email that had a PDF attachment, it worked great as well! Not sure how often I will use this, but it seems useful at first glance. Print speed is average, and a bit noisy. The tray itself is big, and holds a good amount of paper. It’s easy to load as well, without having to pull the entire tray out. The images that printed, on standard paper, were far better than my older Brother printer. So far I am very pleased with the print quality. The kids are always printing pictures for school, so the big ink tanks and good quality is a major plus! Copying was also standard speed. Color a bit slower than black and white (to be expected). 2 Cons I didn’t realize at first with this printer. No ADF, and no Fax. The Fax I can do without, since I have scan to cloud. The ADF would have been nice for scanning tax documents and more. However, I will admit it is infrequent that I would use the functionality. Pros: No ink cartridges every month Big ink bottles (2 years worth in the box) Easy setup Cloud scanning (One Drive, Dropbox, etc) Easy remote printing Very good picture quality Cons: Initiating a scan from the printer doesn’t work for me Can’t perform updates from the printer - didn't work for me No ADF This is a review for the Epson Expression ET-3700 EcoTank All-in-One Printer, that I received free of charge, to do a beta test and review.

It is a good printer. Ink is a lot cheaper compare to hp injesk

So far they are doing what the supposed to do. Still to early to claim victory.

I purchased an Epson ET-3700 based on the great sales price the and efficiency of ink (enough to print 14,000 pages with 2 years' of ink included). Easy to setup printer via a wireless connection to my MacBook Pro! Epson is a printer brand name that you can trust!

I like the refillable tanks the most and email function. Pictures look good.

This printer works magic by automatically printing on both sides of paper to making a scanned document a pdf. file and sending it to my computer when directed to do so.

Tried this type of printer because I hate buying all of those cartridges. The price of this printer is about 3 times higher than other basic computers, but the money saved on ink makes it worth it. Also, the ink is easy to put in and lasts forever (it seems).
