“This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” This printer rocks. I love that it has a scanner built in and the it is wireless. The set up was very simple and it connected to the wireless with ease. Most print jobs consisted of a mixture of black and white and color. Printer was fast to initialize and print jobs came out fine and crisp. It is great that you can print from multiple devices and computers. The whole family uses it, for work and school. Refilling the ink is easy the only issue is you may get a little ink on your fingers.

If you are looking for a great all in one printer with a new twist on technology look no further than the Epson ET 360 EcoTank. I am a single mother so not that great with technology but setup was a snap. I was hooked up and working in no time. I am District Manager for several stores so I do lots of printing. The EcoTank technology allows you fill the tanks on the printer with refillable ink instead of buying those overpriced cartridges. Printing on the Epson is nice , crisp, clear and very colorful. I was first nervous that maybe the refillable ink would run but to my surprise it didnt. Prints came out very nice even with multiple prints stacking on top of each other. The only thing I didnt see on this printer was a fax line but who really uses those anymore. The size of the printer even with the thank is about the same size as most other printers by other companies. I have had this printer for about a week now and I have really enjoyed using it. Its simple, fast, nice software, easy to use and again offers a new technology to save you money on ink. “This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Great for a household with kids in school

This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. Having said that, I have no problems with pointing out the good AND the bad about the printer. I have used this printer for about a week now. I work from a home office so it has gotten more use in the past week than many typical households will have in a few months. The printer was very easy to set up and switching from a dedicated hard wired printer to a wireless network printer was effortless. I can now print from every device I own as long as I am connected to my home network. This printer replaced an older Epson that I had added external tanks to. I have to say that it is a BIG improvement to have tanks built into the printer as before I had tanks sitting on the printer stand and they had to be at just the right level or they would not flow or worse yet, overflow. The old tanks held half the ink that this printer does and they would last me a few months before requiring a refill so the tanks in the 3600 should last me quite some time. The print quality is great for documents as well as photos. This thing also holds LOTS of paper compared to my old one. On the negative side, the printer is a little louder than I expected when starting up for a print job. The printing itself isn't too loud, just the carriage and such just before printing. Also it would be great if they added a document feeder for the scanner. The scanner makes great copies but it is a pain to load source pages one by one. All in all it is a great printer, especially for a household with school age kids. With ink costing $50 or so for black and the same or a little more for color it takes no time to recoup costs.

“This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” Let's start by saying that this printer simply works! I have owned at least 15+ printers over the years and this Epson ET is one of the best. This printer comes with a lot (A LOT) of ink....they say two years worth.....heck I have had numerous printers that never lasted 2 years much less just the ink supply. Out of the box set-up was simple, unpack, add ink, plug in, connect to WiFi and add paper......done! Took bout 5 minutes from box to printing. Print quality is very good and also fast. A full color, majority black print took about 7 seconds and plain documents about three seconds. Just a heads up, this printer defaults to duplex, or two-sided printing, so if you do not want that make sure you change that setting. So far I have run about 1000 pages through and have not had a single issue. Definitely a printer I can solidly recommend.

Great Printer with long term savings

I first noticed this printer when I came in to buy printer cartridges yet again. At first, I thought it was a bit on the pricey side, but after considering the cost of ink cartridges at $50 a pop, the price started looking a lot better - especially when I checked the price of ink refills (around $10-$15) and how little I'd need to buy them. Using the printer has been a breeze. It's very easy to set up, and while putting the ink in the tanks feels like it should be messy, it isn't. I've never gotten any ink where it shouldn't go. The "charging" process takes a while, and although loud, doesn't require any interaction on the user's part - just something I've never had to do with another printer. I don't particularly like having to install software on my computer that's always running, but that's the price you pay to be able to scan documents. For this printer, the installation was simple and, while it is running, it's not getting in the way of my day to day usage. So what about actually printing? It's extremely fast. Much less waiting around for longer documents to print. I love that the paper is stored internally (not sitting on a tray). With kids and pets, the paper always seems to disappear, but now that it's out of site, that hasn't been happening. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it and am looking forward to no more trips to the store at the last minute for ink cartridges (and so is my wallet).

    Great for My Home Office

This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I am using this printer in my home office, primarily for printing and copying, and occasionally for scanning. Pros: The printer was very easy to set up; the most time consuming part of the set-up was allowing the ink tanks to charge. I was worried that filling the ink tanks might be messy, but it was not. The printer is quite fast, and the print quality is excellent, both for black and white and for color printing. The paper tray is easy to load and has a large capacity. Two-sided printing is simple to do. I can easily print wirelessly from my iPad or my iPhone. Cons: The printer is somewhat noisy. There is no document feeder, but this is not a deal-breaker for me. The footprint of this printer is rather large, so it does occupy a good amount of space on my desk. Because I have only been using this printer for a short period of time, I can’t say whether the ink supply will really last for up to two years, as advertised, but the ink tanks do seem to have a large capacity, and I believe the ink will likely last that long for me, given my typical printing volume. The durability/longevity of this printer remains to be seen. I own another Epson printer that has performed flawlessly, so I am hopeful that the reliability of this printer will be just as good.

It's been a while since I purchased a new printer, but my 10 year old HP inkjet was on its last legs with constant spooling and interface problems - this WiFi enabled printer from Epson was the perfect tonic. Everything just works right out of the box and setup was a breeze. The biggest feature of this printer is clearly the ink system- utilizing the Ecotank technology, the advertised print capacity out of the box to print up to 11,000 black/8,500 color pages is a huge attraction. Combined with the great quality of print that I have experienced in my usage so far, I would not hesitate to recommend this printer to friends looking to upgrade. Setting up the printer was extremely easy - the quick start instructions were simple to follow and filling the ink tanks from the included set up bottles (additional bottles are also included) was as easy as matching the colors to the correct tanks. The "charging" of the tanks once they have been filled was quite noisy, but a small price to pay in the long run. After setting up the Wifi (very easy) on the printer, I have used the printer from my desktop computer, iPads, iPhones and Android phone - everything just works exactly as you would hope. It connects effortlessly and gives excellent results with rich colors. I was also very impressed with the copy and scanner features - something I have never had in a home printer. Scanning works just as effortlessly, although having a paper feeder would be helpful. This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Great Value for Heavy Print Users

This is a great value printer if you are a heavy print user. The use of bulk ink instead of overpriced cartridges is a refreshing change for the Ink Jet printer market. The printer is very fast and does a nice job even with two sided printing. It is a great addition to a home office or a small business as it can really crank out color and black and white prints for such a low cost. The only real drawback I can find with this technology is the method used to add ink to the printer. I was careful in filling the ink tanks however I still had a few drops of ink that did not make it into the ink tank and ended up on the table. I would defiantly recommend putting down some paper next to the printer before filling the tanks to prevent any spills. I would give the printer five starts if filling the printer was a cleaner process. The color copy/print quality is surprisingly good for a small business printer. I have owned several small business printers in the past and the color prints really left something to be desired. The colors are vibrant and the the details from the scans come through perfectly. Setup was a breeze and did not require any driver install to get printing on my Mac. As soon as I connected the printer to wifi my computer recognized it as a nearby printer and I was able to print within seconds with no software needed. My phone and iPad also recognized it automatically and I was able to print without setup. This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I have only been using this printer for about a week or so, but I already really like it. Its performance exceeds that of other printers that I have used in the past. One aspect that really stands out to me and that I find impressive is the print speed. It takes no time for this printer to complete a print job--this includes double-sided printing. I was just really surprised by the speed. The ink tanks are very easy to fill. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are labels on the tanks to indicate what color ink goes where, but it is important to pay close attention when filling the tanks because you could easily fill them with the wrong color. The set-up of the printer was very simple and straightforward. I didn't experience any issues with the installation process on my laptop, nor did I have any problems with connecting to my network. From my experience so far, it really is a great printer. Of course, I can't yet validate any claims as to how long the ink lasts, but given the capacity of the ink tanks, I have faith in the claims made.

The Epson ET-3600 tank less printer offers a great solution for people to FINALLY save money on printing costs. I have owned LOTS of printers over the years and always dreaded when I had to buy new ink cartridges....they are SO expensive. The Tank less solution allows you add refillable ink in the tank which lasts longer, printers better, and saves you money. At first I was skeptical on how it would print but it exceeded my expectations. Setup was a breeze and I was up and running in no time. Filling the tanks was super easy. My kids print a lot for school homework and projects so we go through a ton of ink. The Epson prints amzing....very vivid and clear prints.....I was floored how nice they came out. I gave this printer a good run for its money and printed a lot of stuff and really didnt go through much ink at all. This is an all in one printer as well so it offers copies, scanning, etc.. Also the overall size of the printer is great. At first I was thinking possibly the tanks would be large but they designed it very well. Downloading software to computer was easy as well. Overall I am very impressed and the refillable ink is what really got me to fall in love. I always felt like printer cartridges were over priced and bad for the environment. If you are looking for a great printer look no further than the Epson ET-3600. “This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

    A Major Paradigm Shift

This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review No more ink cartridges? What a change! I first saw the Epson Ecotank printer at a club store. I was immediately smitten. I tried to buy it but the wife was there and she said “no way, too expensive”. I explained that this printer was actually cheaper because: 1. No half full cartridges showing empty and refusing to print 2. No more dealing with a printer refusing to recognize third party cartridges due to that proprietary chip on the expensive cartridge 3. No more throwing away a broken printer every year because it was cheap and broke 4. No more storing ink cartridges for said thrown away printers because that model was no longer made but you can’t stomach throwing away new ink cartridges that cost real money I about had her convinced when this opportunity to test the Epson Et-3600 Ecotank printer came my way. I was impressed from the start. Solid packaging, easy setup, and no more cartridges! The print quality is excellent for documents and pictures. The extra features work perfectly. My wife is costing me a fortune in photo paper with the send to printer by email feature. Pros: 1. Easy set up 2. All the features I needed plus some I didn’t know I needed like sending an email to the printer from your phone for printing pictures. My wife loves that feature. 3. It just works 4. No more ink cartridges, Hallelujah! Cons: 1. If you are like me and are not careful, you can spill ink when filling. This happened on the black ink because I was impatient and wanted to print. Once I cleaned up the black ink I was more careful on the colored inks. It really is not a con unless you don’t pay attention. 2. This first charge takes up to 20 minutes. The instructions do not lie 3. The first time you charge the ink be ready for some noise. A lot of noise.

This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. I have been in the market for a new color printer for some time and had been looking at the Epson Ecotank line of printers for possible purchase. The primary reasons for consideration were print speed, connectivity options, and most of all the cost of ink as I would spend more time printing photos and work documents (replacing B&W laser printer). I had looked at the 4550 series printer line but the price was outside my budget. I feel that the 3600 does a good job meeting my needs for medium volume mixed duty of B&W, Color, and photo printing, light single sheet scanning, and low volume document duplication. The printer works well with all of my computers whether running Windows, Mac, iOS, or Android. Setup of the printer on iOS and MacOS were the easiest and printer discovery on my local home network was quick and painless. I had to transport the printer and even with the ink tanks mostly full I did not run into any issues. Reconfiguration to use on another home network was also quick and painless. I was impressed by the number of advanced configuration options that were available to make use of the printer in a business environment. Overall If I had not received this printer to evaluate it I would have purchased it. I am very happy with this printer and would recommend it to others Unboxing Unboxing was easy with no fussing with packing materials and printer has plenty of tape in critical areas where panels, doors, or other parts could move and cause damage in shipment. Setup Unboxing to printing took 30 mins, 20 mins was to charge the ink nozzles Needs to be done with care, easy to get ink on yourself, easy to clean up from the printer. Has advanced configuration options available typically seen in medium to large enterprise. Printing Print speed is quick for black and white and mixed printing Color photo printing on premium paper is slower but great quality, results on regular stock is still impressive. I have printed 100 8x10 photos and 250 4x6 photos Pros Quick printing speed Available connection options (wired, wireless, USB) Easy setup for mobile device printing and desktop. Accommodates legal size paper without need for manual feeding. Double sided printing can be accomplished without having to manually orient paper and feed Ink refills are less expensive than cartridges. Google Cloud printing was extremely easy to setup. Cons I’ll be spending more time printing my photos now that I have a great printer to make use of.

This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. Prior to using the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank printer I was using a Canon MX Pixima printer/scanner as my main printer for the house. After using this printer for a while I don’t think I will go to any other printer unless it is another model of the Epson EcoTank product line. I like how you can add ink as you need it and the fact that I don’t have to go out and buy ink for a long time. The reported 11,000 pages of black and white and 8500 pages of color is amazing especially having young kids who love to print things all the time to color on. I have connected the printer via WiFi and haven’t had any issues printing throughout the house. The print quality is also amazing on the device. The scanner also works great but do wish they had a document feeder for the scanner since it is difficult to load each page one by one. Other than that this is a wonderful printer and will be the main printer in my household.

    Good Printer

We got this printer as soon as they were released. The store clerk didn't even know they had them in stock. I bought this printer because HP blocked my ability to use refilled ink cartridges and I wasn't going to pay the prices they wanted for ink. Set up was fairly easy and straight forward, just read the directions and you will have no problems. Set up does take more time than other printers because of the ink system but it's not difficult to do. Software loaded quickly off the disk and while a online update took some time to download that was because my internet connection is slow at times. The print quality is good for regular printing and copying. I don't know how pictures will print because I don't use it for that. It is rather noisy compared to most other printers. The scanner works faster than any other printer I've had. The software can be a little difficult to figure out at first, but that may just be because I'm used to HP and Lexmark and have never used a Epson. Bottom line is I would buy this printer again. We only print or copy about 20 pages per week so the ink will last forever.

Easy setup, Reliable All-In-One Printer, but noisy

This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. This is the third printer I’ve used in the past 5 years. I had a HP for a few years that finally died on me. I then purchased a Kodak printer, and now I’ve switched to this Epson. The only reason to tell you this is to give you an idea of what I have to compare against. The HP served us fine for a while, but it was not without its issues. The remote printing was not always reliable, and it was quite loud while printing. The largest downfall was the price of the ink cartridges. When it came time to replace it, my main focus was ink cost. Instead of shopping for printers, I instead shopped for affordable ink and then found the printer model that used those ink cartridges. This led me to the Kodak. By this time most all-in-one printers had the same basic functions. I find myself needing to print from and scan to a number of different devices. We have a desktop, multiple laptops, a chromebook, and several phones that all need to communicate with the printer. This was the biggest issue with the Kodak printer. While adding it to the Windows computers was easy, the multiple Android devices were not so easy. My wife’s phone never seemed to work and the chromebook worked periodically. My phone worked consistently, but every time I opened the app, it had to scan my network and find the printer. Now let’s talk about the Epson. The setup took a little longer than most other printers that I’ve setup at home and at the office. This is due to the nature of the ink tanks. Instead of included ink cartridges that just snap in place, it comes with bottles of ink that you empty into reservoirs mounted to the side. While this was not a difficult process, I would suggest you keep a paper towel handy. Once the tanks are full the printing head needs to prime the ink, meaning it needs to suck the ink up the feeder hoses until it gets to the print head. This can take a little while, but is an automatic process so I just went and did something else until it was finished. Other than this small delay, the setup was super easy. The printer comes with an installation disk like most, but I chose to forgo the installation wizard. I added the Epson to my Wi-Fi via the LCD screen on the front of the printer. I downloaded the android app and was good to go in seconds. It found the printer on my network almost instantly. Once I was in the app, I easily added it to Google Cloud Print. Now I was able to easily print from my phone and the chromebook. Next I installed the drivers from the provided CD, and added it to my Windows laptop, and I was good to go. I have to say that this is the best all-in-one printer app that I have seen to date. I find it much more user friendly than both the HP and Kodak apps. It might not be the prettiest, but I would rather have functionality. I can easily print documents and photos from the app. I can also just as easily scan something and send it as an attachment with my phone. The one thing about this printer that excites me the most is the ink cost. I look forward to the savings this will bring. However, it comes with so much ink that I don’t know when I’ll get to enjoy the purchase of cheap ink. It actually came with two bottles of each color. We’ve barely made a dent, and I’ve been printing every chance I get to run this thing through its paces. My only major complaint is that this thing is loud. It’s probably the loudest printer we’ve used, just barely beating the HP. The Kodak was surprisingly quiet, so this was a bit of a step backwards. For how easy it has been to use, I am willing to put up with the noise. Here’s a list of my Pros and Cons. Pros: Easy setup Low to nonexistent ink cost Fast and easy response from chromebook and phones Automatic 2-Sided printing Bottom mounted paper tray Great Android app Clear and crisp copies, almost indistinguishable from the original documents My wife approves and likes using it (this is probably the most important) Cons: Very loud while printing Ink setup can be messy if you’re not careful No option that I could find for 2-sided copies No real access to deep settings form the LCD on the printer itself Overall if you don’t like throwing away money on ink, and can handle the noise I would recommend this printer. I plan on using it for a long while.

The ET-3600 is a gem. My biggest frustration with color printers is the ink cartridges. They are hard to find, incredibly expensive, and don't last. I have owned several color printers from various manufacturers throughout my life and have been disappointed by most. Especially the all-in-one multifunction types. Most rely on software that is unreliable, slow, and confusing. Not the ET-3600. This product has impressed me enough to write this review. I have had no issues to speak of with this baby. It is compatible with my HP laptop, my Dell laptop, my wife's iPad, iPhone, and my Android smartphone. I can print and scan from all of them. The print quality and scan quality are outstanding. This printer even prints double-side. What a paper savings. Out of the box, the ET-3600 does require some patience to setup initially. That is because this printer does not use print cartridges. It uses ink tanks built into the printer. All you have to do is fill these tanks individually before the first use. It is quite a bit of ink that will last a very long time. Once that is complete the printer practically sets up itself. You can use default settings or customize a vast majority of them yourself. You can configure it to connect to your home wireless network, or you can connect to it wirelessly directly. You can even connect it via ethernet if you desire. You can even connect to it via the web and print from anywhere in the world. I've done each and each work fantastic. This printer scans, copies, prints documents, and prints photos. If you don't have a pc, you can do it directly from the printer. I have found this product to be solid and well built. It is pleasing to the eye and it is not much bigger than a standard all-in-one printer. I am happy to own it.

I have had this printer for two weeks. Set-up was easy and the menu system was intuitive and simple to navigate. I was really surprised at how non-messy it was to fill the ink tanks. It came with 4 large bottles of ink as well as four small bottles to top off the tanks - this is enough for 11,000 black/8,500 color. The instructions claim this is equivalent to 50 ink cartridges. That is a lot of money and resources being saved. The print quality was excellent and I was impressed that a printer with such a small footprint could do such nice double sided pages. It did seem a bit loud during initialization but that's not really a big deal. The colors came out bright on the glossy photo paper I used and dried quickly. The print speed per page was also very quick. This is a review for the Epson ET-3600 EcoTank that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

The refillable ink system seems promising and easy to use. Although I did get some ink on my hands when filling it, it was fairly clean and easy to clean up afterwards. After I got it set up, it just worked. My iOS devices find the printer and are able to print first time, every time. WIth my older printer, I would have to power it off and on each time then hope that it would work - spending much more time printing and thinking about it than I should. My OSX devices found the printer and were printing within seconds. For my WIndows PCs, I just had to go to the Epson site to find the driver then I was good to go. I have had many home printers over the years and rarely has one lasted me more than a year. This printer has been the easiest to get setup and use.
