A: While the printer does print photos, it is missing some features that you may miss if you need to do a lot of photo printing. It does not have a dedicated photo paper tray - it is not convenient to switch between photo and regular paper. It doesn't seem to be able to print borderless photos. It doesn't have a USB port or memory card slot or graphical display allowing you to print directly from usb or memory card. The quality is quite good using good photo paper, but not quite as good as my past two HP's that were more intended for photos. On the plus side, the ink does not run terribly when it gets wet like my last two HP printers did. Printing directly from your phone, which most people are going to want most of the time anyway, is easy. And there is no question the cost per print is very low.

Good qualify printing, however loud when printing.
Epson ET 3600 - Printing looks very good, excellent quality so far. However, when first printed an image there were lines across the image. Did some maintainance and seems to be printing good now. Could run a little quieter, seems very loud when printing. Would recommend this printer. Like the econ tanks that will last a long time.

Returning it: behaves like $69 printer (for $400)
Truly disappointing. I purchased this Epson - Expression® Et-3600 Ecotank® Wireless All-in-one Printer based on positive reviews to replace my PIXMA 880 that died after years, but I'm returning it after one day and am going to continue to research and buy something different. so this is just my experience, during it's first outing printing Christmas letters and mail merge envelopes. CONS: 1. Print quality sucks. If one-off print: okay, but nothing to "wow" about. But after several prints, think blank lines appear where the print-head, not qute lined up, travels across the paper. (I used Epson bright white paper, too--not impressed with that either.) See my attached pictures. If your profession requires any type of flyers--to be made in a pinch; you will look stink amateur with these printouts. 2. Ink smears on paper. We folded the Christmas letters, and even after they dried 10 minutes, the ink smeared when folding the paper by hand. That didn't happen with my HP or recent Canon Pixma. 3. Occasional roller ink transfer/smear on to envelopes when printing envelopes. (see picture) 4. VERY *expletive* finicky paper tray with envelope production. About one out of five envelopes failed to feed correctly and either jammed or went through without printing. So, then one gets to compare their list of 100 names and see if the envelopes actually printed. And as the tray only holds about 15 envelopes, when you grab them and start stuffing, they will not be in exact order for easy reference. Also, the tray to catch printouts unfolds into three parts and sits right about the paper tray. So when it jams, or other faults. You have to fold up the print-out tray to get to the paper in tray--which gets really annoying real fast: standing over the printer for it to fault and play with the trays. You WILL NOT be able to hit "print" for about 30-50 printouts and multitask something else; your time will be consumed with standing over the printer and fixing feeding failures. 5. "PAPER TRAY EMPTY" even when it's not. This epson had a hard time recognizing when there was less than 5 envelopes in the tray. You may find yourself screaming at the printer: "you are NOT out of paper!" I did. 6. So for mass letter and envelope printing; this printer sucks the big one. 7. Flimsy paper guides in the paper cassette. Epson tried to keep weight down; but these parts feel super cheap and I don't need to wonder how long these parts will last, because I'm returning it. 8. Paper-in tray: way too little capacity. You will always be putting in paper, unstowing and unfolding the three part print out tray sitting just above it; then re-folding and stowing the print out tray; unstowing and re-filling the paper tray. Wash, rinse, throw the printer out, but keep the the bathwater. It almost became my new frisbee with all the feeding/printing faults and folding/unfolding. 9. Loud. *expletive*! it's a loud, clancky machine! 10. Takes a long time (30 minutes) to initialize and my Windows setup took a couple times; downloading drivers from the Epson site. 11. Ink; I bought it because the ink is supposed to last a long time--but I won't find out; and again it's poor quality. One must be VERY careful not to get it on one's fingers or spill it when filling. PROS: it's lightweight and fast, and doesn't have a big footprint. SUMMARY: sucks for serious work and especially envelope production; maybe satisfactory; but not awe-inspiring for one-off work. It's a $400 printer that behaves like a cheap $69 printer. Can't recommend it.

Good
The only thing i don't like about this printer is that it doesn't have a feeder where i can put pages of papers in it to copy. Instead, i have to open the lid to make a copy of multiple pages one-by-one.
