I remember setting up my first wireless printer many years ago. With all the frustration I had with that printer I had avoided WIFI printers and stuck with the USB connection. I decided to try this printers WIFI setup and it was a breeze. I like the different paper tray locations and options. The one thing with the trays that I wasn’t a huge fan of is the output tray has to be pulled out when the print job is printing. Usually with printers you get a starter ink kit. This is far from true with this printer. I kept pulling out bottle after bottle thinking they must have packed double the ink on accident. I read the box and found that wasn’t the case, but Epson has sent 10 bottles of ink to get this thing setup and going for quite some time. Great job! The ink was easy to fill and like others have said I was concerned it was going to be a messy ordeal. There were no drips or spills at all. And after running the printer setup/Ink adjustments there was still a little ink left in the bottles. This printer is pretty large, so if you are looking for something that has a smaller footprint you may want to look at other Epson eco-tank products. But if you want a great looking, high quality, fast printing printer. This is the one for you.

Out of many printers I have owned or tried there are many that claim to be the best or have the longest lasting ink. For the past few weeks I have been using and putting my new Epson ET-7750 to the test. Compared to other printers that I currently own and use have to say that this one was a little longer to set up and get it ready to start printing my first document. All of the time spent setting up was spent on filling the ink tanks with the supplied ink. Yes it did take a little longer to set up, but with the amount of ink that goes into the printer upon first opening and setting up and knowing that you will not have to refill or buy more ink for quite some time made me forget how long it took to set up. Talking about the ink I have to say that filling was very simple and with the provided easy steps to follow it made filling a breeze and. Once all was set up and filled I was ready to go. I first wanted to see how many pages and how vivid the black would look with plain text documents. After several documents both from direct connect and wifi printing I have to say I was very satisfied with the end results. Good thing that I had the printer for the Thanksgiving holiday as many recipes were email or text to me so I was able to print and have thim ready. Then for one of my best part of seeing what a printer can really do I decided to print some color pictures both on plain and glossy paper. Knowing for sure this would drink a lot of the ink. I printed 25 pictures on 4x6 and 8x10 and to my surprise the ink level in the ink tanks looked as if the ink level never moved. Due to one of my side jobs of taking photos this was a big plus for me. On that note I have to say that the pictures could be a little more vivid or studio quality, but in the end the pictures are very crisp and no over saturated with color. There were some times that the skin tone on some of the pictures did have a higher yellow tone.
Now for the actual printer “hardware” side of things. Yes the printer is larger than most, but in return you do get to print larger sheet formats, larger ink tanks, and a little larger scanner bed. As for the sound of the printer I have to say compared to another lesser priced Epson I own this one is very quiet. The speed this baby can print at was mind blowing to me. Yes photo printing did print slower than my Canon photo printer, but the quality was a lot better. I do a lot of photo editing and document reading and writing on my ipad pro and being able to control the printer via the epson iprint app or direct WIFI printing was a big plus for me. There was little to no issue in getting the printer to connect wireless to my windows 10 pc and my mac computer. One thing that I would of liked was the printer to have a larger display screen and to be touch screen. As for the ink time will tell on how long it would last and how many documents and photos I can get with the included “2yr supply” of ink.
Overall I would have to say that Epson made a great printer with the ET-7750. I was very pleased and satisfied with the print quality and craftsmanship that went into this printer. I highly recommend this printer to others.

The printer is old technology and only supports 2.4GHz. This does not support the faster 5GHz like modern devices do. The end result is that you’ll have to disable 5GHz and use the slower frequency or create a 2.4 & 5 GHz network name - both options defeat the purpose of a mesh network.

Great inkjet printer that reduces consumable costs
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Build quality: Well built Epson quality that most people familiar with their products have come to expect. This strikes me as a “pro-sumer” level printer. Not at their high-end wide format printers, but certainly not at the cheap “giveaway to get them to buy ink” level (see cost analysis). This is probably a good middle ground for many consumers who want a step up from the build quality present in mass-market race-to-the bottom inkjets.
Complexity: This is not the simplest printer by any means. If you’re looking for dead-stupid setup, go with a simple B&W laser printer. On the other hand, in return for the complexity here you get a lot of great things.. multiple trays and media support, a duplexer, Wifi+ethernet+USB+SD Card printing, AirPrint, etc.
Messyness: As long as you are reasonably careful, you shouldn’t worry too much about the ink bottles. I managed to get only very tiny amounts of ink (little dots) on my hands during filling, and I wasn’t being particularly careful. I would (and did) fill this right over a bright white carpet! Epson has engineered the ink filling to be as mess-free as possible.
Cost Analysis : The main selling point here is the reduction of costs so long associated with the lucrative ink monopolies manufacturers have tried to enforce via all manner of microchip and other methods. Epson seems to have turned a corner here, probably driven on by the introduction of color laser jets and 3rd-party ink refillers. These parties have undermined the lucrative “more expensive than blood” ink-based revenue streams printer manufacturers once enjoyed. With this entry and the rest of the eco tank line, Epson is betting that if you feel the ink-refill pain less often, you’ll be more likely to buy Epson Brand ink in bulk, at a lower cost per mL of ~ 18-25 cents (historically 50-70 cents/mL with cartridges). That’s a huge savings for anyone who prints a lot, but the printer is more expensive up front to compensate. The overall idea is to pay high costs front, but print worry-free thereafter, just like a laser printer, although color laser toner and repairs are likely more expensive than the ink at this point. Overall, Epson has brought value back into the inkjet space here, no small feat after lots of buyers had sworn off inkjets for cheap B&W lasers.
Pros:
⁃ Duplex printing in an inkjet !
⁃ Extra ink in the box makes you feel like an ink-millionaire on day one
⁃ Reasonable speed at 13 PPM B&W and 8 PPM color (feels fast for an inkjet )
⁃ Printing from mobile devices after setup. My iPhone “just worked” from AirPrint after joining wifi.
⁃ A scanner is included, but probably also increases purchase costs. Don’t need one personally, but may be useful for some. Too bad that the ET line doesn’t offer a scanner-free model.
⁃ Direct SD card printing is a plus for some.
⁃ Can print onto CD/DVDs, a nice touch, but I wonder how often it’s used.
Quirks and downsides (Cons):
⁃ Print quality isn’t as good as a nice color laser, especially on non-photo paper, but inkjets basically never are. It’s pretty close to some good color lasers, and better than the junk ones you might find at a similar price point.
⁃ A driver on a disc? I’ll download mine thanks… most newer computers don’t have disc drives anyways. Makes the printer or Epson feel a little dated out of the box. I wonder who uses this.
⁃ A bit of a dance and process to get started and fill the ink reservoirs. An infrequent procedure to be sure, so it shouldn’t be viewed that negatively.
⁃ Eventually will need replacement of an ink maintenance box that holds extra waste ink. Another part to replace, but looks to be reasonably cheap and infrequent (~20-25$).
⁃ LCD screen seems unnecessary unless you’re using the SD card directly, which seems like an edge use case for many people.
⁃ Epson Windows software comes with “special offers” you have to manually disable. Even though this is a minor annoyance, I have to say boo to Epson, stop putting adware in your printer software.
Overall, this isn’t the best printer i’ve ever used, but for an inkjet it’s pretty impressive. Only a few minor issues and the $650 original price point keep this from being a 5-star review. If you can get this for $500 or less, I’d say it’s a keeper.

Great All in One Printer but... expensive

I am sure this will come as no surprise but yes the printer is great but is it worth it for the price?. I have been using it for about a week now so ill just go over a couple things.
Setup: setup was straightforward, it was easy getting the ink in, directions was easy to follow, it only took a few minutes to set it all up.
Printing: it prints really fast, tested out a couple full on color pictures and it printed in a couple seconds, quality was great, i am sure it would be even better on higher quality paper.
Options: It's in all in one printer so it has all the options you need and would expect when paying a premium price. Synced it through wifi and worked great.
Overall: For me personally, i do not print enough to justify spending 600 dollars on a printer, i understand the reasoning behind it, it's for sure a good investment if you are going to be putting it to great usage since it will save you a lot of money in the long run. But for just a normal at home printer i don't see a lot of people spending this much on a printer, i see it as a great work/office printer. But overall i give a 4/5, only reason it does not get a 5 is because of the price point, otherwise a great printer all around.

Great all in one compact printer! ECO-TANK!

The Epson ET-7750 is a great compact printer. My previous printer was an Epson Workforce 3640. I love the versatility of the 3640 but the ink became an expensive “habit” for me. I am a full-time student and I work full time. Between work and my PhD, I print between 400-600 pages a week. I felt like I needed something with a better “cost-per page”. I was lucky enough to try the Epson-ET-7750. I am a huge fan of the eco-tank system. I have yet to run out of ink with what was given in the box. Not only does Epson provide enough ink for the first fill, they provide you with an entire second fil as well. That means that they supply 10 ink bottles in the box!! This is the best feature that I could look for. Out of the box the printer feels sturdy and well built. The display/control board can be flush with the printer for a seamless look while not in use or pulled out for ease of viewing and printing. The printer is SUPER easy to fill the ink tanks as well. Set up only took a few minutes, including registration and connecting to epsonconnect and google cloud. I have loved these features for a while with my old Epson. I am a little nervous of the scanner lid, it seems a bit flimsy which I am assuming is to accommodate books and larger items for scanning. I haven’t had the printer long enough to notice if it will become a problem, but I have noticed that I take extra care when raising the lid (this is the only part that I feel is not as sturdy).
As for printing, scanning, etc.: this printer has all the options. I am in love with the cd printing option. This printer has a pull-out tray where you can print CD labels on the CD. This would have been useful 10 years ago when I was touring in a band! Just a small feature that I am in love with. The printer has two paper trays, however, only one of them seems to fit the standard paper size. The tray 1 will only fit photo and card sized paper (convenient but I wish it could hold standard letter sizes as well (which the 3640 was able to do – though not a compact printer). The tray that holds a standard letter size (tray 2) is a bit small with a capacity of 100 pages. With the amount that I print I do wish that the tray was able to accommodate a bit more paper (printing 250 pages straight and having to load a few times is a bit inconvenient … however, I know I am the exception to the rule on what a standard person prints). The printer has all the features that I am used to, including the necessary double-sided printing. I do wish it could print a bit faster but then again it prints at a good pace for a non-laser printer. The quality is exactly what I would hope for with an Epson. The text is complete, dark, and even while the pictures print vivid, brilliant, and gapless. I am excited to use this printer for a while. The only other thing that I wish this printer did was multi-page scanning with an auto-document feeder. This was a feature I used all the time (and still will) with my 3640. I understand that this is a compact printer, but it is a function that I use quite often. Overall, I am very impressed with this printer. The key selling point is the overall functionality and the eco-tank. This idea is genius. For a compact printer/scanner/copier, it is a great machine. Let’s not forget how great Epson connect is! This program has saved me numerous times! Very satisfied! Great work, Epson! You’ve made one of the greatest printers I’ve ever seen. It was very easy to set up, and took me about 15 minutes to complete setup on my main computer. I thoroughly enjoy the IP connection feature. I’ve used it to connect each of my computers to it. It’s setup process is excellent, allowing you to tweak the setup instead of the printer analyzing on its own.
Loading the ink was simplistic, and I found it to be easier than installing cartridges. The print quality is amazing. It makes text look smooth, and colored text and pictures look almost as good as a laser printer. Quite the accomplishment of an inkjet. The wireless features are helpful with my tablet. It makes it easy to print things without an extra step. It even prints template type pages and calendars. It is very helpful, and I recommend this printer for anyone who loves high quality, simplicity, and inexpensive ink. My experience with this printer has been an excellent one. The printer arrived in very secure packaging, unpacking was quick and easy. The setup was very smooth with the included directions. Filling up the inkwells with the included bottles of ink was much less daunting than I was expecting with each bottle keyed to only fit in it’s corresponding ink well. WiFi setup was very self explanatory by following the instructions in the guide and on the LCD screen. Right out of the box the printer comes with ten bottles of ink, enough to equal roughly a two year supply.
The quality of the printed pictures was above my expectations. Definitely very sharp and crisp images. I have not had any issues as far as paper jams, and the scan quality is superb. The ability to customize everything from the size and kind of paper, to having three different trays for different paper was a welcome addition. The extra features included with the printer also add to the list of positives. There is the ability to print from all my devices, even included coloring pages that you can print! All in all, I would definitely recommend this printer for anyone who wants a home printer that can handle a large workload and wants to save money in the process. It’s true what they say, you get what you pay for. The ET-7750 did not disappoint, the setup was easy – especially if the provided instructions are followed. In the past, I have always owned a WF printer and in most cases the ink costs as much as a new printer. Not the case here! First, the amount of ink this printer can hold is insane, each color comes with TWO 70ml bottles of ink (from completely empty you will have a little ink left in the bottle).
We run a business out of our home and in the last two weeks have printed everything from a standard black and white invoice, to high resolution photo prints (5472 x 3648). I was impressed with the quality of the photo print jobs, the image was clear and the colors were perfect. The scanner has some awesome built in features as well, you don’t actually have to launch any scanner software on your computer. Just click scan on the printer and you can specify which printer you want it to scan to, hit scan and bam – it’s on your computer. The manual feed tray is also an extremely useful feature, especially when printing thick card stock or photo paper.
The only Con I can think of so far is the size of the printer. Its footprint is much larger than most of the Work Force printers I have owned. When fully collapsed the printer is 15.5” deep, but if you are photo printing and have the manual feed tray opened as well as the output bin it’s about 26.5” deep. I’ve never had an Epson printer before so I’m glad to say my first experience has been excellent so far. The printer came well packaged and all the parts needed for setup were present. The whole setup process was pretty simple, just took longer than I expected. Setting up the ink was definitely interesting since you have to fill each ink container with the ink bottles included, instead of inserting cartridges. It also gave an option to configure the print quality to your own liking so that’s a plus.
The print quality is fantastic. Pictures and other colored projects came out beautifully and way better in comparison to other printers I’ve had. The wireless features, such as printing from my phone, works perfectly as well and connect much faster. The printer itself seems well made and all the parts seemed sturdy to last for a long time. The only cons for the printer I’ve noticed are:
• Since the screen isn’t touch-based, it’s somewhat difficult to enter text with the arrow keys in the front of the printer.
• The paper compartments don’t hold as much paper as other printers
• The setup for the ink took a lot longer than expected.
It’s well priced for all the features it includes and I think everyone who gets it would love it. whether for home or office use. When I received my printer, I excitedly opened the box and thought that's a lot of ink! I dug right in and opened the instruction sheet and was on my way to setting up this beautiful piece of technology. The instructions were step by step and easy to follow. From the opening of the box to printing was approximately 15-20 minutes (7 of which was charging of the ink).
The fill tank is large and very easy to fill. When you place the ink bottle into the tank slot if it is not connected the ink will not come out, which eliminates a mess that I initially thought I might make when I seen the ink bottles. Way to go Epson! I installed the Epson app on my phone and tablet, connected to Wi Fi and in minutes I was printing high quality photos and documents from my mobile devices. I am so excited to have one of the very best Eco friendly printers in my home! I have been using the printer for a few weeks and I really love it! The setup is easy and intuitive. The print quality is excellent and the print speed is fast. I ran into a little trouble to load the paper because it took me a while to find where the output tray is. (P.S. The output tray needs to keep open otherwise, nothing will print out!)
Out of all the features, I really like the scanning functionality. It has several useful options. It can be scanned to Cloud, PC and Memory card.
The only drawback is the documentation. The user guide is kind of brief. If you have not used Epson printer before, it will be some learning curve to operate this print.
Overall, I am satisfied with this printer and I will recommend it to my friends.

The box is a bit heavy so make sure you are able to lift it. After receiving the box, I opened it and made sure all parts were there. The packaging of the product itself and all the accessories were well packaged. The instructions inside were well written and easy to ready. Setting up took maybe an hour total because of the different ink you had to fill, cd you had to install and setting up the wireless connection.
The overall printer is amazing! It’s quiet, the colors are very clear and sharp. Very easy to use! I have printed from both my desktop and mobile phone and both came out crystal clear. It also has a function to print on a CD/DVD, but I haven’t used that function as of yet. It also comes with a sd port to print from a SD card. It has copy and scanning functions as well. I only have had the printer a couple of weeks but so far, I am loving it. This is the greatest printer that I have ever owned! I can not believe the picture that it prints out!
Setup is simple - get all the annoying tape off of everything, fill it up, and power it up. I've added some photos to show the ink, the nozzles it goes into, and how full they are when you initially fill them up. There's a bit of ink left when you're done in each, and the instructions tell you to wait, you'll need that later. And you do - after charging the printer, getting testing done, the ink levels drop dramatically - another photo I've included when you see all the ink levels dropped some - that's how far it droped filling the lines to the printhead for each color... so the remaining ink then, in each bottle, fills each reservoir up to full again.
The process is simple and relatively easy to avoid spilling. Each nozzle has a specific pattern on its collar that won't let you insert it into the wrong color. When you insert it, I just kept a finger on top, and could feel the "glug glug glug" of the air coming in and the bubbles it made as it emptied. Once that stops, you know it's as full as it will get. I didn't spill a drop, but I did get a couple rings on adjacent covers, easy enough to wipe up with a kleenex...
Once that was done, the normal alignment tests, and setting up the print to email so you can send something from any device anywhere. I've got them all set up even if I've never actually used it in practice. The option is there at least.
Then installing the driver. They actually include a disc, how quaint. Since my laptops and tablets haven't had disc drives for more than a decade, I always go to the site. Even though I have an external disc device if I want, I still prefer to download the current driver since usually what's in the package on disc is outdated by the time you get it.
Install went fine, it updated the firmware on the unit, and I ran my test prints.
Print quality - pretty good, actually. It's not as good as the color canon laser printer I have, but no inkjet I've ever had has been. This is pretty darn close though. And it's quick as well.
Photos turned out about as I expected, on par with any other one I've had. I can't test the large format since I have no 11x17 paper, although I have an HP inkjet that's a wide format one as well.
Non touch screen though, so if you're used to touch screen printers, this will not float your boat.
It comes with a tank maintenance box - I had to go online to find out what this thing was. Apparently it is where extra ink from cleaning and aligning goes, and the printer will tell you when it needs replacing.
And it will duplex so you can print both sides of the paper.
Now, why would they make something this pricey, with these features, but then give you a paper cassette that holds almost no paper? They create a printer that you don't have to add ink to for a LONG time, but you'll be feeding it paper all the time.
The receiver to hold the papers after it prints doesn't seem like it will work well at all for the larger 11x17 format either.
Scanning works about as you'd expect, I had no issues. There is also an OCR option to scan into a searchable PDF format.
And they gave two of every bottle. I don't print much at all, even the little generic ink cartridges that came with the Epsons last me a year or so. This clearly is going to be overkill for me, especially as my son does more and more schoolwork on his chromebook and delivers assignments electronically. But the photo options will probably be where i use it the most. And with this much ink, I may have to go on a printing binge some weekend.
If the price doesn't scare you off, and you do a lot of printing, this may be an option to consider. The quality and speed are right there with any other printer I've had. The ease of the ink system is just really nice compared to cartridges. And it's nice to visually see how much is there. Don't believe the photo in the marketing materials though - the yellow ink isn't yellow, looks more redish. You can't really tell the color of ANY of them by looking at what's left in the tank, as you can see from my photos.
But it's a solid unit, does everything well, and comes with an insane amount of ink.
