Bought this printer to replace an aging HP wireless printer. This printer was easy to set up compared to the HP. Once the software was loaded on my computer it was a breeze. I have been able to print from my IPhone and my wife's Android so this is perfect. Print quality is good but I have not owned this long enough to know how ink usage will be.

bought this printer to replace my old HP all in one printer. This printer was very easy to set up to print wirelessly and has a much lower profile so it fits in small spaces. I prints quickly. I would definitely recommend this printer.

I haven't had the printer very long, however it works great and the print is very sharp. Setting it up was easy and installing driver on my computer went well. Had no problem printing my spread sheet using the WiFi connection to the network and the print was sharp.

After looking at many different printers, I chose this because of its small size, ability to air print and the quality of the photo prints. I wish it had more paper options. I also wish the ink refills were less expensive.

Was very excited about the ease of use and various features. Setup took only minutes. Photos turned out great. Wireless feature is great for son's ipad. Great price for the budget.

I had a printer that was very fast and printing but it was large and took a lot of office space. This printer does a great job and takes up very little space. Great service at the store as well. Told them what I wanted out of a printer and did not try over sell me.

Pros: Text documents are not super crisp but ok for an inkjet. Mixes of images and text look pretty good. Color prints on good quality ink jet paper are pretty good. Haven't used high end photo paper yet so I can't judge. Haven't tried the cd label yet. If it works that will be a definite plus. Cons: Complicated paper and envelope loading. The fact that you have to remember to pull out the output tray when you turn on printer. THis requires fiddling with a stacked arrangement of paper bins and output tray and is inconvenient. Output tray sticks out quite far. The interface menu is not all that straightforward. Uses pictures and arrows. Too many choices. The fact that it takes quite a while to turn on and off, and also makes random noises even when not being used. It sounds suspiciously like it's doing something that uses up ink. Won't print Adobe PDFs except as an image. No fix on this yet. I'm hoping the prints make up for the annoyances. There really aren't any good options for people who want an All in One AND good quality color prints - at least not in affordable range. I've always used Epsons. I was happy with my Workforce 635 but it developed a signal problem.

My last printer (Canon) just randomly stopped working one day and I needed something quick. I wanted something that wasn't large, but was good quality and had wireless and cloud printing. This little guy got great reviews and fortunately for me, was on sale at the time so I took the plunge. I have to say that I'm very glad I did, it's a wonderful little printer and more than lives up to my expectations. It was very easy to set up, prints very well and doesn't take up much space. I haven't used the scanner feature yet, but if it's as good as everything else, I'll be very happy!

Good printer. Easy to set up and operate, good color picture quality. I had a problem with smearing printing color pdf pages. Worked OK in other formats.

If print quality for a great price is what you're looking for.... this printer can't be beat! It offers exceptional print quality for documents and photos, and has an amazing price! So why the 3 stars? Well, while this printer has 5 stars for print quality and price, the build of the printer seems a bit lacking. To print, you have to pull out the print tray each time you want to print. And then push back manually once done. Which in of itself isn't that bad, BUT the trays are not attached, causing the trays to come out, get pushed too far in, and you end up adjusting it every time you try to print. I print on labels and paper, and switching the types of paper with the loose trays was too much of a hassle for me. It was not as seamless of a printing process as the HPs I've used in the past. Eventually I went with the Epson XP-830, which is the next model up from this one, since it had automatic tray and a few other features, and it just felt like a better build all around. I recommend going to the Best Buy store to check out in person, to see which printer is right for you. Conclusion: Excellent print quality and amazing basic printer. If you have more advanced printing needs, you may need a model with a better build, but this should serve you well if you just need a great print at a low cost.

Purchased this Expression Premium XP-640 to replace another Epson printer that would not stay connected to our wifi. It was very easy to set up and started printing in less than 20 minutes. I think it took more time to get out of the box. Very impressed with print quality so far and ease of use. I have yet to print a photo but do not anticipate any issues. I like the 2 paper trays and two sided printing. Over all very satisfied with this printer. (This is the fifth Epson I have purchased and used in the last 24 years.)

Great little printer. Works and responds the way it should. I have only had it a week and tested on photo printing. Wow, wonderful color quality. Highly recommend for folks wanting something easy to operate yet very good quality.

Printer is lightweight, small and easy to fit anywhere. Print quality is excellent, very easy to set up, even the wifi option was a breeze. My only complaint is the paper feed, 2 flimsy trays that don't hold much paper. No rear feed slot/option so it's a pain in the butt to swap out and add photo papers. Still overall one of the best printers I've bought lately.

Easy to set-up and get to printing right away. The tray doesn't hold more than 35 sheets of paper, so I do have to re-fill it more often than I'd like, but if that's my biggest issue (which it is), I'll take it.

I bought this printer specifically because of its cloud print features. For that it works well, although you need to log into an online Epson account to set some features that aren’t on the printer itself. No big deal, but it took me some time to figure that out. The paper trays are small and can easily be pushed pass the point where they should be inserted. This is admittedly a very compact printer, but it feels like they could have done better here. That said, the prints look great. I would recommend.

Like the size and fact that it's wireless. Now I can put my other scanner away and use the space for other things.

I got this printer for printing photos and DVD/BLU-RAY. This printer does an excellent job printing photos. It was also very easy to set up the printer to print email and photos from my phone.

Purchased this printer based on on line reviews and feedback from Consumer Reports. This printer replaced a Kodak printer for me. So far I like the way it prints. The cartridges seem reasonably priced. Setup was very easy. I am running this on a Apple Computer and a Dell Computer, Apple Ipads and Chromebooks. Everything seems to be compatible so far. Only dislike is the hidden paper tray. I am used to the paper being exposed so you can see how much is left.

We didn't want a big printer/scanner and were very pleased to find the Epson. It was small, wireless and had everything we were wanting and needing. The price was a pleasant surprise!
