Epson LS 11000 has an outstanding Picture Quality! This is projector number 5 for my dedicated (21 x 14 foot) Theater Room. I just had an Epson 5040 go out in November 2021. The epson dealer let me know the board was out after 7500 hour's. I bought a Sony VPL 45es (Magnolia) and used it for over 5 months (500 Hours) while I waited to have the 5040 repaired. I am happy I waited the the 11000 to come out. It has excellent contrast, clarity and color pop. The value proposition of this projector is an excellent return. I have only had it up and running for only about an 6 hour's but it is running 4k at 60/hertz. With a few adjustments to color and HDR it has a stunning picture. The flexibility of installation is huge value. I did have to to install a new 8k fiber optic cable to get it to project a picture (Old HDMI did not Work). I worked with the Magnolia at Tuttle Crossing and Rob was an excellent consultant. Initially I bought 4050 then the 5050. I ultimately spent the extra dollars for increased contrast, Laser, 8 million color and True 4 k shifting. The build quality and picture fine tuning are worth their weight in gold! I am very happy with this project and picture quality. I am using a Elite Screens Sable Frame B2 135-INCH Projector Screen Diagonal 16:9, with a 1.3 gain. Yamaha TS 700 Polk signature series (7.2) with dual 12 inch subwoofers. I included on shot with a single ambient light source (lamp) and the picture is excellent. I Will update once I view some 4k Movies. If you have not worked with Magnolia representative I would consult with them if your are looking to build or upgrade a theater room!

Great projector if upgrading from bulb or 1080p. May not justify the cost otherwise. Not intuitive setup when mounted upside down on the ceiling. This thing is very heavy! Make sure you upgrade your mount.

I’ve had a home theater for the last 18 years. For the last 2 years planning a new HT during a major home renovation. The biggest decision, of course, was the projector. Looked at everything under $5K and finally decided on the LS11000. They have been in and out of stock since their intro. Took a month after ordering to ship, 10 days to arrive. UPS was supposed to require a signature but was just dropped off. Package was in good condition and so was the projector. Used the Epson ceiling mount, which had some issues with the 4mm screws used to mount to the projector. I had spares from TV mounts so mounting was finished without major incident. I ran a 25’ UHD, 18GHz wire HDMI cable from the Denon amp to the projector 20 months ago. The throw distance of this projector is about 3’ farther than planned, so I needed a cable extension. Nonetheless, the combination wouldn’t work for UHD, just 1080p. Had to run a new fiber optic cable to fix that. If you are running cable, just bite the bullet and install FO cables. Just a heads up. Quick start guide is way too thin to get to a properly positioned picture on the screen. Other than that, the startup is quick, picture is bright and clear. 4K content is amazing on a 120” screen. Even with some ambient light, the picture is very good. Much better than my 1500 lumen Panasonic ever was. Only a week into ownership and I will update after I get it better dialed in.

Since purchasing my projector i have been happily surprised daily. Its the only projector i can watch during day with shades open and lights on! It truly is like a 150” tv its so bright. I highly recommend this 4k lazer projector to anyone who uses during daylight hours. Way to go Epson!!

Been projecting for about 10 years now, and this is by far the best I've had yet. Tons of features, crystal clear image, responsive, great for gaming, movie nights look crisp. Dont regret this purchase at all. It's got some weight to it though, so make sure you mount it solid.

Purchased this projector for basement home theatre. I am impressed with the picture and the ease of use. I love that the projector is a laser projector instead of a projector with a lamp. This was installed by geek squad and seemed to install easily. I wish this projector also came in black but doesn’t not. The LS12000 is available in black but costs $1k more. I am using this with the Elite Screens - Aeon 135" Wall Mount Projector Screen and the picture is amazing and clear. I also like that this projector has an eArc hdmi. I am using this with sonos ecosystem. I have a sonos arc mounted under the screen with a sub located in the front and one in the rear with 2 play 5’s as the rear speakers. Also using a 4K AppleTV as my video source. Would definitely purchase this again. One thing to note is that my Best Buy salesperson ordered the epson branded ceiling mount and that mount is only rated for 25 pounds and this projector comes in at a whopping 28 pounds so just make sure mount is rated for the weight of this projector.

Excellent projector. If you go with grey screen ( Obsidian - Tab Tension , long focus alr - you’re welcome ) the image is as good as my living room Samsung Oled . Gaming is also very nice on it. I’m very happy with it.

So far really like this projector. Well the second one. The first one I bought had bad 8 bad pixels which left bright green spots in some constellation pattern. :) From boards sounds like this has happened to a number of people. Thanks to Best Buy for an easy return and had a new one delivered to my home 3 days later. So far this one has been great. I came from an old Epson Home Cinema from 12 years ago. This one is so much brighter and better picture quality. Playing Xbox is much better with the higher refresh rate though just have an Xbox 1 so haven't tested the 120hz. This is one of the few 4k's supporting hdmi 2.1 which was one of my reasons for getting it. Cons: Protective cover is noisy and sounds cheap closing. IT'S BIG and heavy. Make sure you have room and proper ceiling mount that supports almost 30lbs. Feel like I need to point the remote right at it which is annoying when sitting below it. My $140 apple tv can do wireless/bt why can't a $4k projector? Pros: picture quality. Brightness. I have a gray screen and I almost never go over 50%. Infact sometimes wish could go lower.

Hard to review for me since my unit was defective. The switch from bulbs to laser should be big improvement, but time will tell how these laser models hold up in the long run.

This is an excellent projector for rooms with moderate light control. The colors pop off the screen, and the 20,000 life span is ample. It's heavy, so you may want to consider a shelf vs a ceiling mount. The mount I purchased sags over time no matter how much I tighten the screws. The black levels are good, if not great. The only things that I wish this projector did is automatically adjust HDR, and support native 4k. This the reason for the 4 star rating. The picture is fantastic, but could be slightly more crisp.

I installed two projectors. The Sony that cost $2K more and felt this Epson was much better. Epson has the self closing lens cap. It had keystoning. Took the Sony back and got the Epson with mo regrets. Both had great picture quality but Epson had more bang gor the money. I will never go without Keystoning again. I have had projects with it and without it and not sure why they even make them without. Fits my screen perfectly.

Bought this one to replace a 10 year old Epson 5030 which had developed a vertical green line on the display. Due to lack of parts it was not repairable so I went with the ls11000. Great picture, with a 4k signal you can see every pimple on the actor’s face (maybe I’ll go back to 1080 for some shows). Some still refer to the Epson 4k projector as a faux-k due to pixel shifting, but it appears that the full 4k information is displayed. Switching the input from 1080p to 4k/60 HDR shows a much more detailed picture, so I’m pleased to get such a great picture for under $4k.

The power supply on our previous projector died and we needed a replacement. I considered a few others that were close to the 6040UB specifications but decided to upgrade to the laser and glad I did. The picture is crisp and the colors are sharp. While I did not want to buy a new projector, I do like the new projector much better.

Upgrated from a bulb based project, a 5030ub, this laser projector blows it away !No more bulb dimming, flickering and no more replacing the bulb after have of its life! The picture is bright, colors are rich and they will be the same way for years to come.
