I am not one to write bar reviews, but for the price these were, I was very disappointed. Great concept on Epson, but needs better OS, the Android version is severely limited, not to mention the constant rebooting that takes 5-15 minutes. Maybe i just got a defective one.

My Business partner and I bought them and loved it. That was until the app shutdown in mid flight. We had problems with the battery charging overheating. And the Pix4Dcapture and DJI go app both crashed. Granted the program crashing is not Epson’s fault. The glasses themselves are fantastic. It’s the Android device limitations like the touch pad\scroll pad are a pain. I had to connect a Bluetooth keyboard just to add passwords. My recommendation to Epson is to come up with a version where the glasses interface with our phone or tablet Bluetooth so there is no cables. If necessary a simple touch interface. That would be awesome and the glasses would work with all drone applications. Take advantage of the research Apple and Samsung have done for creating a device and focus on what you are great at, displays.

I am so happy I purchased this (instead of goggles). I tried these out right away and loved how well they worked with my DJI Phantom 4 Pro. It took a little effort to get the updates loaded, but once that was done they worked perfectly.

Ok, I was skeptical at first, but after just 20 minutes I was hooked. I can’t fly with my phone every again. Being able to see your drone and your screen at the same time makes flying way easier.

These work flawlessly and I had none of the negative issues in other reviews. The images are crystal clear even for farsighted eyes.

I’m not all that excited about these really, First off if you need glasses it’s a hassle to use , If you can use contacts it’s a bit easier,,Using the Controller is a bit tricky, especially when the bird is in the air ( drone ) I just don’t think it was thought out for those of us that where glasses , I’ll only suggest for someone that has 20/20 ,

Great way to fly drones

After using the Moverio BT-300 glasses, other FVP goggles, phones and iPad as visual control devices with Phantom 4 and Mavic Pro, for many flights the Moverio glasses are my preferred device. The ability to see both the drone in flight and what the camera is seeing is great.
On the down side, the glasses Android version needs to be updated to a later version, preferably at least 6.0 so more apps can be used with the glasses, ie, DronePrix AR, etc. I had a map app working originally, but now cannot get one to work, this is an overall problem not being able to use standard Play Store apps. Also, since the glasses were developed with DJI it would be great if the DJI GS Pro app would work with the glasses so pre-planned flights could be done, it's for this type of flight, as well as DronePrix AR flights, that I'm relegated to using iPad or phone with other FPV goggles.

I admit, I am obsessed with flying my DJI drone, and when a new cool accessory comes along I buy it. Rapid battery charger? Why own just one. Trackimo? Love it. Tablet and controller sun shade? Got it.
When I read about the Epson Moverio BT-300 FPV version and ability to connect to my Mavic, I had to have it. Pre-ordered this baby months in advance.
Have been using the Epson augmented reality glasses for three months now and I can tell you that if you love flying, you need this product as it’s the next best thing to being an actual pilot behind the wheel of a private plane. No longer do I need to pan from my tablet/controller to the sky with the Epson glasses I can watch my Mavic in the sky, and see what it sees with its camera thru my right eye.
Awesome product. First time I showed up at a meet with one everyone wanted to see it, now I am starting to see more and more people flying with them.

If you want to get your head out of looking at the monitor on your controller. Here is the compact lightweight version of the bulky FPV that is out in the market. Been using it for more that a month and find it quite useful in having the monitor in a head up display format as well as keeping the drone in a line of sight.
When I am not drone flying it make a really good device to watch online videos and tv as well as surfing the internet. It is the best investment as well as looking up to date in the latest technology.

The most important thing, to me, about Moverio is that I can lay down in bed and use it. This allows me to:
1. Watch Netflix on my ceiling while laying in bed.
2. Browse the internet without craning my neck while laying in bed.
3. Stream video games from my PC and play them in bed.
And that's not even including how awesome it is if you're an owner of a DJI drone!
Moverio is an awesome product, would definitely recommend it.

Its never been hard to fly my drone for a newbie like me using Epson's Moverio BT-300 FPV. You can maintain your light while looking at the drone's camera at the same time. Truly a great piece of technology.
