Nice not running out of ink anymore
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this printer for eight months now and love the fact that I haven't had to buy ink yet! Printer comes with enough ink to last me several years as we don't print very much. I've always had problems with cartridge printers because of lack of use as they would fail or run out of ink when I really needed to print something, but not this printer, you can see the amount of ink you have left through the tank windows.

Show stopper
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is the best I have ever used. I purchased it bc of the ink - you get more for your money and you spend less on it. But I am floored by the quality of the prints. For standard copying or printing papers it’s great. No surprises. But I am taken back by the quality of printing pics! I normally don’t do that at home - cheaper to do at the discount store, but I wanted to see the quality. The color & B&W prints were stunning!

Amazing printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. How can you not like a printer that uses bottles for the same price of cartridges, but last for year or more, depending on how much you print. My old Epson (WF645) used cartridges and I didn't print photos very much. Now I don't have to worry about not printing photos in order to save on ink. Documents look like they came out of a laser printer....very nice. Printer came with two years worth of ink, but I don't see myself using it all up in two years.

The new way to print
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, every time I go to buy new replacement ink, I spend as much as I did on the printer or more. I needed an office printer and was looking at a Canon laser printer. The toner for all three colors and the black would be almost $400! This uses actual liquid, and can print like 10,000 sheets, when you need to replace it will cost about $80 . Print quality is fast and great, the only issue is that it needs to be in a 2.4 network only, cannot work on 5g.

Great Step for Mankind
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Epson has eliminated the costly ink cartridges. This works on a tank system, and comes with a supply that'll last the average person two years You can actually see on the front how much ink is left in the tanks.. the printer is way faster than any of my previous HP's. The screen is easy to work with, and if you like you can use a stylus to work with it. All in all, really worth the money...if you think about not having to buy ink refills for a very long time

Prints well, but....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this printer because of the ink tanks, and that is one of the Pro's for this printer. The other Pro is that it prints pictures very well and prints fairly quickly. The con's are the scanner is absolutely the worst scanner I've ever used. Even clear copies come out faded and sometimes parts of the document not there. The scanning software is horrendous, difficult to use and no clear directions on it. The auto feeder jams a quite often, and if one of your pages has a wrinkle in it, you can be assured that it will jam. Paper settings are ridiculous, i.e., you decide to print an envelope. Even if you go into the word, select print an envelope, change the settings in the printer properties software and try to print, forget it, you have to go to the printer and correct the error message that tells you that the print settings sent don't match the default of the printer, which do you want to use. I'm sorry, I just set all of those on the computer, why do I need to get up and cross the room to tell you that is what I want to use???? After you print the envelope, the next time you go to print, you will get the same error message again if you are trying to now print on regular paper because the last thing you printed was the envelope. I've always been a Canon printer person, but thought I would try this because of the ink tanks, so I am getting rid of this printer and trying the Canon Megatank printer. HOPEFULLY, that one will work better. Do yourself a favor, if you are looking for a printer that you will always be printing letters on, this will work fine, but if you go from different documents, to pictures, to envelopes, you will get your exercise going to the printer. Oh, and it doesn't want to work from my Iphone. It finds the printer and says that it is printing, but a little gremlin must be stealing the documents before I can get to the printer to get them.

Wonderful Ink System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LOVE the bulk ink system. first fill lasted over a year. Only drawback, if you don't use it a lot, then you have to power clean the heads, which wastes a lot of ink and fills up the waste ink reservoir. They sell replacement reservoirs, but if you're handy, you can take apart and clean the original. Messy, but cheaper! and it works!

Very Impressed!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A little pricey at list price, but it regularly goes on sale from time to time at $399. And if you trade in your old printer for $100 it's a super bargain. Two sets of ink which will probably last the average person 3+ years. Printer says two years of ink, but I've printed a fair amount in 5 months and have probably only used no more than 20% of the first set of ink bottles. HUGE cost savings when the average set of replacement ink cartridges is $50-$75.

Best Printer I have EVER owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned dozens of ink and laser printers over the years, mostly for business use, and they all seem to go bad after time for one reason or another. Thus far, this is the best printer I have ever owned. Setup was a breeze, the print quality is excellent, and the ink looks like it will last as long as they say it will. I would recommend for both business and personal use, especially if you print in large quantities.

Changed from HP to Epson
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should have changed my loyalty from HP to Epson printers years ago. Yes, the Epson cost double the cost of the HP printer. BUT, it will pay for itself quickly with the cost of ink savings. The Epson prints hundreds of pages more than the HP with the same amount of ink. No more expensive cartridges. I buy bottles of ink and with a fool-proof system, I refill the ink containers myself. And it prints faster, better, double sided, whatever you want!

Great home use printer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had to replace our outdated printer and hear good things about Epson brand. Great product for the price. Love that ink is easy to fill and no expensive cartridge that run out after 20 pages. Love that they include enough ink to be able to refill before having to purchase ink and that you can see the ink tanks and know if you are low on ink before having to run out in the middle of a project. Very easy to setup and use.

Neat ecotank design
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Two main requirements, no expensive cartridges and Windows 10 compatible. Both wishes granted. Plus very good print quality and photo quality on plain paper. I haven't tried it on photo paper, but it has to be good if it is so good on plain paper. Start-up was easy. Touch screen needs to be a little bigger. Overall, very pleased.

I love this new printer!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a replacement for an older inkjet printer. I was debating about getting another inkjet because of the cost of ink cartridges, cleaning and quality of print, but after reading great reviews of the bulk ink printers, I decided to go with the Epson. I am not sorry I did. Print quality is great and I like the cost and convenience of loading the ink reservoirs. Strongly recommend, and worth the little but extra cost.

Works good so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the tank refill vs the cartridges. So far it works well. I am hesitant because I have not had good luck with HP printers. They always break the day after the warranty ends. So far so good but the outside door seem rather flimsy. The only short coming is that it will not scan both sides using the feeder as my previous Canon printer would. But it will print from my iPhone. I don't do that very often but it is nice when you need it.
