Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the WorkForce WF-2760's excellent print quality and ease of use, along with its convenient wireless functionality and reasonable price. Positive feedback also mentions the printer's compact size and straightforward setup process. However, some users note that the printer can be noisy and that the paper tray could be more robust.

We purchased this printer for our 89 year old mother, and she finds it very easy to use. The setup instructions were very easy to follow. My mother found loading the ink cartridges very simple.

    Impressive printer, great value

I came into Best Buy looking for a different printer since I wanted one just for home use, but the Expression printers seemed geared towards photo printing and use expensive ink, and we never print photos. A similar Brother had nice features, but seemed very flimsy with thin plastic everywhere. So when I noticed this model, it stood out right away in spite of its "office use" appearance. So far I have been very impressed by all its features, and especially the epsonconnect "cloud" capabilities. We do 95% of our printing on a laser printer, but I expect to be using this one more frequently in the future.

    Inexpensive but problematic

I guess you get what you pay for. I am unhappy with the poor quality of the paper feed (it needs to be cleaned/reset often) and how quickly it goes through ink!

Loud grinding noise when paper loads

Based on the specs, this should have been a very good printer. I purchased it from Best Buy on sale, at a very good price, and I was excited about it. But... The installation was difficult. The disc which came with the printer was corrupted, and didn't work at all. Multiple attempts were needed to download the drivers. One good thing I have to say is that the tech support phone number really worked and the people at Epson were helpful in guiding me through the installation process. Some of the installation problems were related to the interaction between Windows 10 and the Epson drivers. When the the drivers, and applications were all installed, and it was finally time to test it out, there was a terrible grinding noise coming from the paper roller. Every time a new sheet was loaded from the paper tray into the printer, you could hear it. It almost sounded like the roller needed to be oiled. Maybe this is just how it is suppose to be, or maybe I got a lemon, but I'll be returning this before the 15-day return period is over.

    Pretty Good printer

“This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-2760 that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” Overall this is a good printer, The biggest issue I have is the fact that the ink cartridges that came with the printer were out of ink after only 4 pages of printing. I contacted Epson and they are sending me new cartridges. Other then that issue the printer worked as advertised.

Printed well until ink needed replacing

Every time I try to print or scan it tells me that I need to replace an ink cartridge to access anything on the printer. Ex: I replace the magenta and print one black and white document then it tells me I need to replace the magenta again. Epson customer service tells me "replace the ink cartridge" and nothing else. Printing one 5 page black and white document per month is costing me approximately $20 per month.

    No AirPrint compatibility

Printer is not recognized through AirPrint on iPhone or iPad. All online fixes did not work for me. In one YouTube posting of a fix for this problem, the supposed fix didn't even work for the guy doing the video! Fine printer from a laptop, but nothing direct from Apple "I" devices.

    This Printer is a Lemon

I purchased this printer in June of 2017 for occasional use at home and used it for the first time last month (August). I'm now trying to use the scan feature on the printer and am overwhelmed with disgust and aggravation. Twice, I've received 'cartridge not recognized'. When the identified cartridge was replaced, I received the same error message for another cartridge, so I replaced all of them. Now, I'm receiving the same error message on only 2 of the cartridges, which is appalling to me. This printer worked on the first day I printed. However, it has not worked since (I can't even use either of the other features: scan, copy, or fax). Do not waste your money... while the printer was only $80.00, I'd gladly pay more (which I'm going out to do today) for peace of mind. You get what you pay for. This printer is sucking up my funds (being forced to purchase more and more cartridges) and STILL not printing ANYTHING. I will NEVER purchase another Epson product again. COMPLETE TRASH AND A WASTE OF MONEY!!!

    Unusable

I bought this printer primarily for the ability to scan and print. The wireless printing/scanning works great when you first set it up. But after the initial set-up, and the printer goes to sleep, the wi-fi printing/scan ability is intermittent at best. Reinstalling the software and re-doing the wireless settings on the printer work for a short time until the printer is either powered off or enters sleep mode. The document feeder tray for the scanner can only handle about 2 pages before it jams and causes a feed error. Once the jam is cleared, scanning does not resume, but must be completely restarted. This printer is only at best good for printing when connected via a USB cable. Scanning/printing over wi-fi is difficult and the scanning feature is unusable.

I got this and the cd was not able to load. I went to their web site and the same thing. It got to 13% and stopped. Called customer service. Epson uses overseas. Spent over an hour on the phone and they kept asking me to look for the program in my docs file, they tried to have me reload. they couldn't get it that the program was NOT loading so there was no program to look for. I asked several time for them to xfer me back to the US. they refused. Their final solutions... They wanted me to call windows. I am going to return it for a refund and get a different brand. Sad that epson has no tech support in the US. why I say it. they can't otherwise they would have xfered me back to the US. I also had a hard time understanding them. they xfered me to two other people and still no fix. Kodak sorry I left you. I buy a printer a year for our group and the last few years have been kodak. I only decide to switch this year because ink is getting had to find local. Also customer service changed my PC was setting. When all was done I had to go back in and restore my setting. OMG it was horrible.

STEER CLEAR IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

I will never, ever, buy an Epson or HP printer again. Their constant greed and overpriced proprietary ink will have you spending several times over what you paid for this garbage printer (which their software updates steer will force you into eventually. The worst part about this printer is the fact that it refuses to print ANYTHING if you run out of ink in a single cartridge. EVEN IF YOU DON'T NEED THAT COLOR, IT WILL NOT LET YOU BYPASS. Eventually, it got to a point where the printer was not recognizing the cyan cartridge, even though I had been using their ink cartridges the whole time. Because there is no way around this, it effectively bricked the whole printer. I ended up buying a brother INKvestment printer and got rid of this piece of trash. Never again!

Not worth the added ink expense

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This printer does a nice job printing after you clean the print heads 6 or 7 times also be prepared to change the ink cartridge almost as quickly as you bought it. This printer goes through more ink than any printer I have owned. I only use it once a month for maybe 10 text only prints after which it needs new cartridge. It also prints very blotchy and spotty even if I used it the day before. I have had to clean the print heads more times than I can remember. This has been a constant problem from day one. If you’re looking for something that is reliable and not an ink hog, this is not the printer for you.

not reliable, slow and uses too much ink

I have had this printer for almost a year. I have chosen not to print much to it because it going through ink too fast. I have already gone through 3 cartridges of each color with not much printing. I just tried to replace a cartridge with a refilled one vs a new one and it tells me cartridge cannot be recognized. I have also had problems with the wireless staying connected. In addition, last time I scanned a two page document it took about 10 minuets. It does not always take that long but sometime it going VERY slow scanning or printing. Not worth the money or headache for the simple tasks I have done with it.

    Paper Weight

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

When I first got this printer I had to return it because the original one was faulty. The new one was great for about 10 prints but I have had it about a year and it has had so many issues that now it is basically useless. Paper jams every other print, it runs through toner like you wouldn't believe, now it's printing but only blank sheets of paper even after brand new ink was put in and nozzles were cleaned. Its big, bulky, slow, and noisy. If it worked I would be fine with it, but it doesn't so I deem it a hunk of junk.

    Terrible Printer

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Scan quality is very poor. Duplex scanning requires multiple steps (besides the obvious manual flipping of the page) and more times than not the feeder fails to recognize the sheet and adds a blank page to your scan. The machine feels flimsy and cheap. I only paid $69 for the machine but even at that price I'd give it zero stars if it would allow me to do so. Spend more money and get a better machine - I'm going to.

    Constantly buying ink

While print quality is fine, the longevity of the ink cartridge is terrible, even in draft mode. Not even going to donate because I don't want to burden the person that unknowingly buys it. Going to the recycling center...
