I had this taped on a VHS as a kid. It's so nice not to have to rewind! It is hilarious as you remember it. Best Buy really was the best buy on this one, too!

A fun nostalgic 80s Christmas movie. Jim Varney is great as always. Plus a warm and memorable portrayal of Santa. However the DVD is bare bones. No special features and the image doesn't automatically adjust for widescreen TVs. Meaning the picture has black bars on all 4 sides, the top, bottom, left, and right. You'll have to zoom or stretch the picture to fit your screen.

If you're here reading reviews, you've more than likely seen this movie, but it was years ago, right? I mean, it's Ernest. Of course, this gets 5 stars. This is probably my favorite Ernest movie, and is our Christmas staple. You can have Ralphie and Cousin Eddie. Give me Ernest, and I will feel the magic of Christmas, no problem.

One of the best Ernest movies. Jim Varney is his usual comical self in this light hearted Christmas movie.

I bought this for my cousin, but I have one of my own. It's not the usual Christmas movie (and I do have lots of those). It's Ernest, so you know it will be fun silliness. I really don't like most of the Ernest movies, but this one is different -- it actually has some touching moments when dealing with some characters' development. Worth checking it out if you haven't seen it.

Got this for a Christmas gift. Grew up watching this around Christmas for several years. Ernest's adventures often lead to zany encounters and wearing ridiculous disguises, but this time he's doing it to help Santa!

I have been a fan of the ernest movies since I was a kid and even though I don't like this as much as his other films it is still a holiday classic in my opinion.

Saw this for the first time as a kid in GA and now have my own copy. Living in Florida I can understand the "miracle" near the end of snow. Good laughs throughout the movie that are clean

I love how this is a good old time movie that's good for the family and friends.

This is one of my favorite Christmas movies. Widescreen is the best! Best Buy is a great place to order movies, they arrive quickly and they have an awesome selection.

My fiancée grew up watching Ernest movies and when I purchased this it was around Christmas so it made for the perfect movie to watch before Christmas for some family fun!!
