I have the Max360c and I was contemplating the add on M1 dash cam until Escort came out with with this. Very pleased with this units fit and finish out of the box (nice packaging too for those that care). I am a long time Escort user and the the 360 technology has been the biggest game changer for me until now. The Drive Smarter App combined with the 360 detection and now integrated dash cam is a win for me and likely the last upgrade I’ll personally need. The Drive Smarter app (pics included) gave me a quick pre trip heads up real time. It’s functionality is similar to Waze in that it is shared with the network or community of users. I know there was mention of some app challenges but I’ve had none so far. I’ve included some side by side images of my Max360c and new Maxcam360c for size comparison. Excited to use this on my many Seattle to Portland trips.

Very impressed with the dash cam coverage. Escort radar detector has never let me down.

The actual radar detector is great and the camera is not bad. My issue is the support if you have issues. If you are a Mac user you can’t get support because the only way is to have a computer that runs windows.

[Employee of bestbuy] Compared this to my Uniden R8 and this is very comparable to it. Range however Uniden wins but its nice to know that theres a dashcam built into this radar which stands out from the competition. Would definitely recommend this to friend who wants safety built into a radar

Other than the price being up there this is a radar that goes beep beep. And records video while it goes beep beep.

I’m not sure this is ready for prime-time. I thought I could upgrade my Uniden R7 and my dash cam with this. But unfortunately it didn’t pan out. The app (which is needed to view the dash cam videos) is quite sluggish and didn’t always work. Also, the detector is quite large and I’m not sure if the radar performance is as good as the R7…

Amaxing !! Just recently got into a head on crash and the dash cam recorded it all !

I have been using MAXcam for the past few months. It is everything as advertised re detection distance 360deg and more as it keeps me more than aware of my speed at any given time. Camera also provides great coverage and easy to use if there is a need to review a video on ones PC.

Radar is good. Filterering is outstanding. Camera is ok but good enough to have everything in one unit. App is horrible. Unfortunately the app is needed to use the full features of the radar. It could be a 5 star if they fix the app

Unit's latest firmware better (v1.7), but unit still randomly reboots. App is still very buggy with everything on latest versions. Settings don't stay set in the app. Cannot load recorded video reliably in app. Downloading said video next to impossible. Best way to access is to pull the SD card from device and review. Video quality is OK, expect more from the Sony sensor. Overall, this is an excellent concept that would be awet if Escort could ever get the bugs fixed. I've opened a case with them, but question if they even use their own product since everyone is talking about the bugginess. Hopefully they will pour the appropriate technical resources into this product to bring it up to it's full portential.

Excellent product as alway…the smart drive app has gotten better but still not 100% user friendly. Set up easy as I have had several products(Max360 +M2 cam) and this product is superior in every way…can’t recommend enough if you are in the market and price range

An amazing combination of Radar detector and video cam system. It even tells me when I am at an intersection with cameras. Easy to work with. Works nicely with my phone and their App. Expensive yes. Worth it? Every penny....yes...

The Maxcam 360c works as advertised. The radar is able to detect at long ranges and the the direction indicator is accurate. I've only used this radar for a month, but it's been great on highways. Unfortunately the Drive Smarter app is disappointing and has problems connecting. Would recommend using the Escort Live app, although it has less features

The radar detector part did a great job and when connected with the app you get great range and officer updates in actual miles to speed trap. The camera would never allow me to connect to it I have the m1 camera connected to another escort and it’s easy to connect this one isn’t worth the money just get the redline360 and a m2 it would be better. I don’t recommend this one

Radar detector works great! The Dash Cam requires software to be downloaded to your cell device. Kind of a buzz kill, but this detector like all Escort products, is very reliable.

It's very accurate and having the dash camera It makes this the 1, I recommend this product a little bulky but not overbearing Great combo unit

Only reason for giving 2 stars is for the radar detector itself. The required app to access the total system is flawed and from my standpoint it was not ready for the market. I have reinstalled the app 3 times, factory reset the MAXcam twice and still am unable to get the app to connect to the camera via Wi-Fi and at times even the radar through Bluetooth. Escort should be giving peoples money back especially paying a premium price for it. It would also be helpful if they actually gave you a manual to use that goes more in-depth of the specific actions for each button. Yes a downloadable is available but is hard to read on a phone. About ready to return this to Best Buy before I toss it out the window. Escort should know by now when a product is ready for the general use. I love the concept a two for one is great but the actual ability to use is seriously lacking.
