    The best. Worth every penny.

The best radar detector I’ve owned. Period. Super long range, accurate, no false alarms. Upgraded from the 360c and love having the camera. Gives me piece of mind. Having two separate units was a no for me so this sleek design is awesome, love the look. Yes, I too had issues changing settings with the app but spoke to customer service and update is coming. Meanwhile it’s still awesome, and will be awesomer soon. Just gotta get around to finally hiding that cable now.

    Upgrade for the wife

I have been using Escort aince ‘98 and thought this combo will be user friendly. I run the redline 360 and add on escort dash cam. But the max cam gives you both in kne conpact unit. Looks great with bledmount and wire tap to get rid of cable dangle. Only 4 star since tge long range is not as good as the flagship radar. But for my wife and tge easy of use, you cannot beat this escort. Drive safe!

MaxCam 360c Radar and Dash Cam

More false alerts than real time alerts. The Drive Smarter App has many glitches also. The dash camera seems to work good.

    Prolonged

I liked this model and it does a good job, it's easy to understand how to use it, I received it on the same day I ordered it, so I put 5 points, but I wanted to update the radar application, it's very confusing Looks good

  • Is there any kind of subscription that I need to pay for the unit or does it work right out of the box

Thank you for your question. No subscription is required. The MAXcam 360c works right out of the box. We do offer the Drive Smarter app, which is free for users with compatible devices like the MAXcam, which makes it easy to access camera footage, adjust settings, and see shared alerts from other users. There’s also an optional Defender Database subscription, which lets you download and store Defender locations (like red light cameras and speed traps) to your detector’s memory. When you register your MAXcam, you get a 90-day free trial, and after that, paid subscription options are available, but it is completely optional.

  • 1. Is there a way to have the dashcam record towards back of car? 2. Is there a visor mount, or is it windshield only?

Thank you for your question. The MAXcam 360c offers front facing recording only and is supplied with our EZ Mag Mount, which attaches to your windshield. This is the only mount we carry for this detector.
