Escort - Redline 360c Radar Detector System, works with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto - Black

Let me start off by saying that before I bought this radar detector I did my research for months. I decided to go with the redline 360c. It is by far the best radar detector on the market. It has extreme long range.It picked up on a speed trap on a county busy road that was roughly 5 miles in front of us. It rarely has false alerts and it will lock out the same alerts that are not law enforcement on its own after driving by it enough times. I will say that this detector is only really great if you pay the 50.00 a year to escort to use their drive smart app along with the detector to really maximize its potential which I found out and is worth it but not needed to use this detector day to day. The app that escort has is awesome for adjusting all the settings on this detector and trust me there are a lot of settings that need to be adjusted to maximize this detector. There are some great videos out there of how to set it up depending on where you live and the types of bands used by law enforcement and placement which does really matter. I know it’s not cheap but it’s worth it. I have no regrets on buying this redline. At the end of the day of this detector saves you from one speeding ticket it has paid for itself. In my case I do tend to drive a bit fast from time to time and it has saved me twice in the last two months.

I don’t like to do reviews, But, I cannot let this pass because I went to read some reviews before I invest this amount of money on a radar detector. I own this for a very short amount of time and all I can say is, it’s great it took a little longer to get to know the settings but it was only me. Anyway, this radar saved me for 3 citations already one was with the laser gun about 300ft away and the other 2 was cops on the hide out. All I can say is i paid the full price $750 plus I added the M1 camera. I am definitely very satisfied with the accuracy. I know it’s a lot of money but I feel kinda safe driving around. Just the fact that nowadays you must have some sort of protection and this radar and the cam it works great. The only issue I had with the camera was that I have to disable cellular on my phone to watch the camera because I use T-Mobile and it appears to be a problem. But again very happy with the radar and the camera. The only reason I added the camera here was because i bought it together the entire package. Def, recommend to you.

I bought this radar to replace my old Bell radar I had for like 15 yrs. The redline has been great, I love the range and the directional arrows that show you the direction in which the police is located. Will buy my boyfriend one.

[Employee of bestbuy] Originally had a escort 360 mkII (great radar for the money) but wanted to upgrade a flagship. Was debating between this and the uniden r8. I would say if you want just the most sensitive radar on the market, that would be the r8, but I hate false alerts causing unnecessary noise so I ended going with the redline for a good in-between of great false alert avoidance and still having great range. Note: Be sure to update firmware.

I have owned and operated the Redline 360c daily for over two years now. The detector is high end and delivers exactly what the product overview states. Long range detection, no false alerts, Wi-Fi connection for updating, and so on. I have also found that the detector and the Escort Live app promote safer driving practices by making the driver more aware of their immediate environment. The only issue that I’ve had with the detector occurred last week. The brightness of the screen at maximum decreased making it hard to see during the day. The unit is currently being repaired by the manufacturer for a fairly reasonable price because my warranty has expired. I definitely recommend buying this product.
