had a blast playing this. really good rpg also came with soundtrack and book.

As some of you may know, this particular entry into the series is actually a remake of the original 2nd iteration of the game, "Heroes of Lagaard." However, this game is an improvement in every sense of the word, whether it be graphics, storyline, or even pacing. 10/10 purchase.

This is a must have if you have the first game from the untold series. Much like the same from the first game. Great graphic and the game play is same. If you weren't able to try the other Etrian series but didn't know where start the untold series is a great jumping point.

Atlus did a good job on this one. The first game was pretty basic, but this remake really improves upon the original. I have only put about 10 hours into the story mode, but I like it so far.

I played the original iteration on DS. Though the 3D component doesn't ever do much for me, the 3DS port is still worth picking up with the added story and other additional content.

Tons of customization, great music, and tons of exploration. If you give it the time, it'll keep you busy for hundreds of hours.

Great JRPG. I love the create-your-map-as-you-go aspect of the game. It really adds a completely new dimension to the gameplay.

If you've played Etrian Odyssey on the original DS, this a great remake on the 3ds! Upgraded graphics and gameplay make this worth the trip down memory lane.

I never played the original DS game, so this is a welcome new addition to my 3DS library. If you're into turn-based dungeon crawling JRPGS, you'll like this. There is a new story mode, and some new features as well.

A little short since I finished it and it barely came out yesterday, but all in all as fun if not more fun that the first game. Would definitely recommend!

I totally recommend this game to dungeon-crawler lovers! Lots to explore, lots of maps to draw, characters to customize, items to find, monsters to fight, strategies to develop for defeating bosses, etc. Just be aware that this is a challenging game (as any of the other Etrian Odyssey games) and requires a lot of patience and trial/error with strategy development. The 49.99 MRSP might seem too steep but it's worth it! I invested about 80 hours on this game and found it satisfying (especially when I defeated some of the end-game bosses).

Even more of the same good stuff and a more! I love all the cool new things, mostly the cooking and just how much money you can get from it. And of course that new character class (only in story mode) is really rad. I really liked the characters in this! Technically speaking this is two games as it includes Etrian Odyssey II that was for the NDS, but of course it's updated in here! So if this is your first Etrian Odyssey and you still wanted to play a classic Etrian Odyssey game, they have one in there for you!

If you are reading this review, you probably know that you're already a good candidate for this game. Great story you'll love it

Bought this anime game for my niece and she loved it. Good interactive game with a good storyline she's plays the game for hours.

Etrian Odyssey 2 is a fantastic dungeon crawler that offers up two experiences, the original version and a newly updated one!

I bought this game for my Dad and he says that it is a great game. If you liked Etrian Odyssey IV, you will enjoy this game.

I am loving how with this game series they are bringing back the older games, but re-mastered and even with a new adventure. It really is like you have two games in one :D

A remarkable dungeon crawler, a great starting point into the franchise, and easily one of the best RPGs on the 3DS

This game at first I didt think I was gonna like being a first person jrpg turns out to be hard and additive.

A great remake of an already great game. Worth picking up even if you've played the original to death.
