    This game is an amazing re-release of a earlier DS title, but it has added many new features and fix the bugs that plagued the original. The game is an old style dungeon crawler that requires you to draw the map of the dungeon as you go. A party of five (predetermined with personalities in story mode, or a custom team you build in classic mode) must make the journey.

    So the original EO2 on DS was a fantastic and challenging dungeon crawler, but lacked any plot. Upgraded visuals, the much enhanced Grimoire system from EOU1, and a solid plot on top of great traditional mechanics makes this a must buy. The fact that you can play Classic mode and forego the new additions is pretty cool to see for old fans of the series.

    Looks like this and some other Atlus titles are going out of print for 3DS, so they are on clearance/sale. If you manage to find the launch editions, you'll get a nice box and some extra goodies with the game. I've noticed some stores put the spider trap security devices on these, damaging the boxes. Luckily, one of the locations near me keeps them behind the counter.
