I like this camera a lot. I had another home camera but this is way better than that. You can even put upside down to a surface. We have a pet and sometimes we need to leave at home and we were worried before but now with camera I can check up on her and talk to her. It also has night vision.

Would not recommend due to cloud service features

I gave an overall low rating because at surface level the camera seems pretty great but the cloud service is a mess. Because of this, I wish I had gotten a different camera with a different company. The camera is easy and quick to setup, has great picture quality during both day and night, and can pan 360 degrees. I also like a lot of the features in the app you can set to customize the camera, such as easily setting a default angle. The issues I have with the camera are with its motion and sound tracking and AI. Starting with sound, the sound is not sensitive at all even on the most sensitive setting. It does not seem to be capturing sound events correctly. With motion, I believe most events are captured, but sometimes events begin seemingly in the middle. For example, the recorded event begins with the person already at my door, and doesn’t include the part leading to how they got there. The tracking is not that great. Sometimes someone walks by and depending on how fast or slow they do it, or if they pause in part of the frame, the camera does not continue tracking with them. They walk out of frame and the event ends instead of the camera tracking where they go next. The motion sensor is also not sensitive enough to capture smaller objects, such as cats, even on the most sensitive setting. Basically it has to be something big and directly in front of the camera to be caught reliably every time. Additionally, the AI on this camera frequently (about 50% of the time) incorrectly identifies an object as a human or does not identify a human as a human. I think part of these issues have to do with the fact that the camera doesn’t do well when there is a lot of depth in frame. For example, where my camera is set up there is a porch and a walkway, and it seems the camera doesn’t know whether it should focus on the near porch or the far walkway, and it doesn’t seem to do a good job monitoring both at the same time. I have tried to correct this with the focus area feature where you can tell the camera where to monitor to notify you of events but it hasn’t seemed to make any difference. Now on to cloud service. The day I got my camera I tried to setup cloud service. Although I successfully started my free trial, I could never get my camera added to the trial. I tried using the chat function within the app for help. Wait time to chat is always very long. Because the app is so poorly designed, as soon as you minimize the chat window, you leave the chat. This makes it very hard to follow troubleshooting directions within the app from customer service while chatting. I then tried calling in. I have to say, the representative was very helpful and friendly. However, after trying 4 troubleshooting methods, he was unable to add my camera to my cloud service. He told me to reach out to email support. Email support responded at the rate of about 1 response per 24 hours. After a few days, they finally told me that the issue was a glitch that they would be fixing within the next week. After a week, I was finally able to add my camera to my cloud 2 week trial. I was not given an extended trial due to these issues. When my trial expired and I tried to begin my paid subscription, it also took a lag of a couple days to work successfully and start saving events to the cloud and I was not reimbursed for this lost time on my paid subscription. Now the cloud service features, which is the main reason why I would not recommend this camera or any Eufy camera. If you want the ease of using their cloud service so you don’t have to buy your own SD, you will NOT be able to reliably record all events due to the motion and sound sensitivity issues I discussed above. Furthermore, even if the camera does successfully detect an event, IT IS NOT SAVED TO THE CLOUD IF YOU WATCH IT LIVE. No where does Eufy transparently explain this. You unfortunately have to find out yourself that any event you interrupt by watching live will not be saved.

Great out of the box indoor security cam. Compact, sleek, quiet. I love the pan and tilt along with motion tracking. The 2k color is phenomenon. Sometimes it's a little too sensitive to motion and sound. Only wish it had a wider angle of view. Great price.

This eufy indoor camera provides a clear picture during the day and at night with it's night vision. I was able to talk to my family while I was away with this indoor camera and the app allows you to move it side to side for a wider picture while you are gone.

This pan & tilt indoor camera is another good product from Eufy, great for home entrance or maybe as a baby or a pet monitor. The settings in the app are pretty easy to use and the view of the cam is clear with the 2K resolution, however the micro usb cable provided is to short to install on a ceiling as suggested on the manual so I had to buy a longer one. For those people that don’t mind the cable been to short or want to use it on a table, it’s an ok camera, personally I wish camera would have been completely wireless with a rechargeable battery, other than that the features on the mini camera works well with the exception of the Privacy mode that doesn’t have a setting to activate for a long Period of time, when I turn it on it last for a few minutes and then it will turn off automatically or maybe when it sense movement, hopefully they fix this with a software update. Another thing thing that this camera is lacking , unlike the other Eufy cameras is the Geofencing setting, this help detect when you’re home so it will turn the motion off automatically.

Overall: Great mini security camera with big functions! I would recommend this to others and would definitely buy again. Pros: I am really impressed with this camera. It offers great clarity, pan and tilt, and auto tracking (which is really cool). I really love being able to insert a memory card to store video and there's no monthly fees. Set up was fairly easy through the app. Cons: My only real con is getting the cloud storage to work. I recommend creating your cloud storage account first and then setting up the camera so all you have to do is log into your cloud storage account as part of the set up for the camera. I did it the other way around and could never get the camera to upload to my cloud storage account.

For a indoor PTZ camera, this is a nice little unit. Unless you have a Eufy cloud subscription you will need a memory card. Great picture, easy to use in the app. Easy to setup. It requires a outlet, no battery

Absolutely love these cameras! The app is easy and wonderful to navigate, the camera quality is fantastic! Between the night vision, picture quality and setting options theres no better option online for cameras indoors or out! The battery life is wayy beyond my expectations, ive had the Cam2 pro for almost 3 months and its still at 90% with no additional charging! My Cam3 Pro is with the solar charging also beats all of my expectations! 10/10 recommended!!

This camera works very good, the image is clear and the app gives you easy access any time without bugs, not having a tracking object system turns out to be good and you still have the control to scan the area manually.

I love this in house camera, it's not hooked up to the World and I can monitor my cats or anyone that may come into my house during the day. Great product, easy to use, pretty much plug and play. It did take a little time hooking up but once it did I was all set.

The camera was fairly easy to set up although it kept wanting to recalibrate itself over and over. I finally had to reboot it. The quality of the video is great however the sound quality is very poor. I can barely hear whats going on in my kids room. I've tried to adjust the setting but it seems the audio is bad.

Love this camera. We have it in the garage. Now we can leave our garage door open in the summer when we are working in the yard and if someone walks in the garage it will notify me on my phone to let me know someone is getting close to the garage door or has entered the garage. No more opening and closing the door every time we want to get something from the garage because of fear that someone would steal something.

This tiny little camera works pretty well. Once you mount it, you can control the direction you wanted to look on your phone app. The picture quality isn’t too bad and the night vision works as well as you would expect.

This was simple to set up and provides excellent video to monitor our apartment (honestly, our cats). Being able to swivel side to side and up and down allows one camera to cover a large viewing angle. I'm glad there's no required monthly fee. The Geofence option to arm and disarm is also a nice feature (turns off notifications when I'm home and switches them on when I leave). One thing to note that isn't clear... there are two versions of this device at about the same price, this one does not directly integrate with Apple Homekit.
