I could never get this camera working right. It would either pick things up I didn't want to see or not turn on at all where there was a movement, even right in front of the camera. One nice thing about the camera was that it was wireless, had an internal memory build in and didn't require a subscription. But it still wasn't enough to justify keeping it so I ended up returning it.

Absolutely love the easy install & clarity of videos. I went back & purchased a 2nd one for another outdoor area. I purchased both when they were on sale.

High definition in both night and daytime, easy to install. And easy to recharge. The app also easy to link to the product and control the light.

So far, this security camera works well. The app had easy to follow instructions for set up and the videos are of good quality.

Doesn’t allow you to hook it up to the rest of the system. Runs on it own connection, frequently loosing connection.

This is a great wireless standalone security/spotlight camera, but not without its flaws. For reference and comparison, I also have a eufycam2 system. If you aren’t familiar, that system has 2 cameras (no spotlights) that connect to a ‘homebase’ unit that stores the videos. This new Spotlight Cam does not need a homebase and is completely standalone and has its own storage built in. All you need to do is be sure you mount the camera within range of your Wi-Fi network. Setup is quick and easy through the app. You can view the saved footage or a live view from anywhere to always check in on your home while away. As mentioned, this camera has a spotlight ring around the camera. There are several settings within the app to alter the brightness of the light when a motion is triggered. However, whenever I tried to set it to the ultimate 100% brightness level, it always reverted back to about 75% for some unknown reason. There are also 3 options for Night Vision: ‘B&W Night Vision’ that will turn on infrared LEDs without a spotlight to give you the traditional black and white night vision. ‘Color Night Vision’ that will turn on the spotlight and record in color when triggered by motion. ‘Turn off’ – turns of infrared and spotlight so you don’t get night vision or any spotlight features. The problem with the Night Vision setup arises when you want to see the ‘livestream’ view. I prefer to have the camera set to ‘Color Night Vision’ so I can get my recordings in color. However, in ‘livestream’ view, it is almost pitch black and you have to click the ‘light on’ button to illuminate the area. I would prefer the livestream viewing to be in ‘B&W Night Vision’ mode so I don’t alert anyone with the spotlight. I wish there was a setting to choose a separate Night Vision option depending on ‘livestream’ and ‘recording’ views. Perhaps this will be remedied in a software update. Overall, with these small issues and nitpicks, I still think it is a great product for home security. A bonus is it links into the same eufy app as my other 2 cameras. I do recommend the Spotlight Cam Pro 2K.

This home security camera is super-sharp and cheap enough to use

The camera is super high quality, but it comes with major flaws. This camera does not come with the option to store footage on the cloud. I've looked everywhere online and it only stores footage on the camera itself which is a huge security concern. The reason being is because if someone wants to break into your house or car without getting caught, all they would have to do is hold the button at the top of the camera to reset it and it will erase all camera footage its recording and its history. Even when you go back to the app after the camera has been reset the footage is all gone. This is why this device desperately needs the option for cloud storage at the very least to make it viable for the average consumer.
