Very sensitive , picks up everything. Only problem I have , cannot check via cellular only wifi

Is a very nice camera but the battery dies quickly because of the spotlight feature. My dogs keep setting it off more than I would like it keeps thinking they are human.

Love these security cameras, they have more features than the more popular brands. Without having to purchase a yearly subscription!

I have a kind of mashup of security cameras around my home. While sticking to one brand makes managing the apps easier, I find I don't need to look at them all in one place that often. To that end, I find the Eufy fits into my setup very well, even as a mix and match component. Setup was dead easy. I elected to set up everything before mounting it so I could test the camera out before committing to a location. The app walked me through everything and I was up and running in no time. Then came the surprising part. I didn't need to set up any kind of paid account to monitor or store past recordings. The recordings are stored internally on the device, so there are no requirements to pay someone to store them. Keep this in mind when mounting the camera since if someone can snatch the camera they will have the recordings, too. Mounting is even more simple than the app setup. Since everything is self-contained you just charge the camera up to 100% then mount it using the supplied mount, which screws into a standard tripod type mounting hole on the bottom. You can use the app to aim it and then you're all set! I've had mine running for a few days, so I can't say much about the expected battery life, but so far so good, even with me playing with the light here and there. Even without the light on the camera captures clear images in darkness. I first set up the camera in my garage on my workbench to try it out in the dark and image quality was good in total darkness and with the built in light being the only light source. I really like the app. It gives me pretty granular control over video quality for streaming (the camera stores recordings in 2K but can stream in lower quality for poor connections), lets me pick what kind of motion to record (everything or just when the camera detects people, which it does well) and if I want the light to come on with motion or not. I always prefer on since it is likely to scare off someone skulking around in the dark. You can talk to someone through the camera, which I have not had an occasion to try out yet. While you may not be familiar with Eufy, the camera is well built and the image quality is as good if not better than my Ring cameras. I would not hesitate to buy a few more from this brand!

Sometimes there is a delay in notifications. Video clip time very short.

The camera connected quickly and seamlessly to our existing Eufy hub. It took a while to charge the first time, but I would guess that means that the unit has a substantial power reserve - a nice feature for people like me who intend to use solar charging instead of hard-wiring. Video and audio quality are impressive. The spotlight is bright, but not as necessary, as the “night vision” is superior. The speaker is much improved over earlier models.

This camera is awesome. I have several other cameras and doorbell cams that I've tried out. I'm really impressed thus far with Eufy. So impressed that I actually went and bought the doorbell cam as well. If that works well I'll likely switch all my Blink Cameras over to Eufy. This camera is well built and works as it should. Install is as easy as throwing up a few screws. I have had zero false notifications. Usually we get a cat that walks thru our driveway every night a couple times a night. That does wonders draining the battery on my blink cam. Thus far I've received zero notifications that weren't from humans. After using it on optimal battery mode going and coming for a few weeks I'm still sitting at 86% battery. I am now going to switch to optimal surveillance because I want longer clips. You can also select areas where you want detection to pick up and it actually works as it should unlike other cams. The video quality is excellent during the day. At night it is slightly degraded but still enough to make out faces and pick up on things. Audio recording is clear for the most part. I did notice when two people are talking its really hard to make out what is being said, it's slightly easier when you listen thru earbuds. All in all I'm really happy with this. Like most areas we've had a recent uptick in people rummaging thru vehicles and snooping around houses. The light on this camera and siren alert is a game changer and is the reason I wanted it. As mentioned earlier after trying the spotlight for a week I went ahead and ordered the Eufy doorbell cam to go along with it. I haven't installed it yet but I'm expecting the same type of quality product that the spotlight provides.

These cameras are complete garbage. Some days they don't record anything, other days you get a video with a leaf blowing but it totally misses you, your car, the mailman, Fedex, Amazon.
