    Eufy Spotlight Cam is a Pro

    The Eufy Spotlight Cam Pro 2K s just what I have been waiting for to use outside my Condo. The perfect budget security camera that does it all for first time users. Initial setup was having to charge the Spotlight Cam for about 8 hours and downloading the Eufy App which walks you through easy installtion. I am amazed at how slow the battery is draining at 120 days max while detecting 59 events in seven days of use with 7.3 of 8 gigs of storage for up to 2 months of footage. The audio and 2K video is of excellent quality being able to hear birds in the morning and crikits at night. I have my Spotlight Cam Security set up for text notifications on Front Door Home mode with view of side walk leading up to my Front Door. You can also customize the Spotlight Cam 2K to work when you are away or based on a schedule. With Spotlight Cam Smart Detection I was able to get human or all motion detection even with medium detection sensitivity. The Color Night Vision feature works great and allows you to set Spotlight settings for brightness level you prefer, which works best for me leaving out before dawn for work or coming home after dark. You are able to add other Eufy devices to compliment your Spotlight Cam while controlling your device with Alexa, Google Assistant.The Eufy Spotlight Cam Pro 2K is the way to go wireless for the safe and efficient all in one security camera.

    Looks like solid built. Couldn't connect to my 5g internet, found out can only 2 or something, so I returned it. Would have been nice because it's a stand alone unit.

    I hate Best Buy 15 day return policy, I'm going to STOP purchasing from Best Buy and buy direct. I purchased 2 of these cameras and a Doorbell in July, The cameras worked fine until the battery on one drained within a couple of days. I recharged it, no problem, until I discovered there was a problem. The camera picked up activity, sent notifications, the spotlight and alarm worked fine but, it wouldn't turn off from the app, I couldn't change it from Home to Away, vice versa, nor could I Snooze it. Each time I got a message, Cannot access camera or something like that, so I deleted it. When I attempt to add it back, it couldn't connect to my WiFi. After a dozen failed attempts I called Customer Service, waste of time. Anyway, I had ordered another L40 camera from Eufy website before discovering this hunk-a-junk, which I asked the CSR to cancel the order because I need a reliable security camera. I'm very impatient and don't like unreliable anything. Refund my money for both camera and I will try another product. Personally, I believe the camera was taken over by a Hacker.

      -Make sure the wi-fi password doesn't have ANY SPACES
      -Please try to turn off the firewall setting on your router
      -Make sure port 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in router have not been disabled
      -Try performing setup on a different mobile device
      -Perform a hard reset on your device by holding down the “SYNC” button for 8 seconds, waiting 30 seconds and
      repeating the setup process. Save important videos before resetting device.
      -Try to connect the camera via mobile data on the phone, you may need two phones. Enable the hotspot on A phone and connect B phone to the hotspot, then try to connect the camera to the hotspot

    This is another great Camera from Eufy/Anker. Picture quality is fantastic. Great features that put this camera ahead of other in my opinion: -Local storage, no subscription fees ever like so many other cameras out there. -Great smart features like person detection so you only get alerts when you should. Also able to set up activity zones to help minimize false alerts. -Spotlight (optional) can be used to get great color video and images at night, BW also available if you don't want to use the spotlight. -Wide angle covers a large area with only a single camera. -2K image quality is as good or better than everything else out there. Can't go wrong here, easy to set up and all the latest features.

    Worked fine for a few months…. Now it Constantly disconnects from WiFi when it’s cold out. It also automatically records clips when viewing live. Stay away from this solo cam. The 2k pro cameras are amazing and will be replacing it with one of those.

    No Live View

    Camera allows me to turn on and off light, sensor lights come on and I'm able to access motion test. I'm 2ft away from my wifi with camera and phone. I've tried to install and reinstall several times but I cannot get a live view picture and nothing gets recorded. I got this on sale 4 days ago and plan to return it for another in hopes this is out of the ordinary

    Won’t stay online. Has good Wi-Fi signal but continually goes offline. Other than connection it has a very good picture when it is working

    Out of the box you need to charge the camera for a full 8 hours. Downloading the app to assist with setup. Installation is a breeze with the enclosed hardware. I installed the camera at the roof eves 8 feet off the ground. It covers the back yard. I had a problem with the dog setting it off. I went into the app and turned off animals. This system also has two-way talk, the app is cumbersome as you have to hold down the button while talking. Live streaming during the day is excellent nice color picture. However, at night you must turn on either the B/W lights or the color lights to see anything. If there is an event the light comes on automatically. The spotlight Cam Pro 2K integrated nicely with my other eufy cameras and recorder. I would recommend this system to family and friends.

    Very disappointed with the recent news to come out that your footage is not just locally stored as they advertise all over their website. There is a cloud server that store your info. Why advertise “No cloud” when that is not the case?

    I have other Eufy security cams and have been impressed with them, so I wanted to give this unit a try. Being a “solo” cam means it does not connect to a base station. Instead, it has 8 GB of internal memory which can record motion for several months before it begins deleting the oldest videos. As with all the Eufy lines, whether they use a base station or internal memory, there is no outside monitoring service or costs required. This is a wireless (WIFI) camera with 2K resolution which can last 120 days on a charge. That’s less than some of their other wireless units, but the difference is that this unit has a built-in floodlight. Both the camera and floodlight are activated by motion detection. The build quality is excellent, and the setup was a breeze with their app. Let the camera scan the code on your phone, and it connects to your WIFI and is ready to use. All the Eufy cams work with this app, and your entire security system is accessed and coordinated in one place. You can adjust everything, even the intensity and color temperature of the light. The app is extensive and mature with AI that lets you choose any motion or humans only, zones to monitor, zones to exclude for privacy, scheduling, and more. You can also hear, talk and set off an alarm. I put this camera/light on my large front porch. Using the flood (your choice) also allows it to always record in clear, 2K color at night. No more grainy black and white videos. I find this a great addition to the Eufy line and my security system and highly recommend it and the Eufy system.

    Appears to be well made. Unfortunately it came with a hardware problem and I couldn't install it. I am returning it for a replacement or a different type.
