First of all, assembly is required folks. It's quite simple though. This vacuum has a very powerful suction. I though it was going to suck up my area rug. You can turn off the brush if need be. The hose is like a slinky, it stretches so you can vac dust from a ceiling fan without lifting the unit. It has rubber feet for hardwood floors. It auto rewinds the cord... Nice! I thought the vacuum is pretty loud. It was just as loud as my 10 year old vacuum and there was very little change in weight as well. It only comes with one extension and the holder for it doesn't secure it to the unit securely. I'm keeping it because the Hoover vacs that are lighter have too much plastic and the Dyson is outrageously expensive.

Theirs by far is the best vacuum I have ever owned. Did lots of research and trying to decide Dyson or this one. I'm so glad I chose this one. Work great on bare floors. I have 12 cats and have lots of litter gets tracked onto the hardwood floors. Suction is fantastic and doesn't spit the litter out the back of the vacuum.

this thing is pretty sweet. great suction. picks up a ton. the switch from "tools" to "floors" is taking a little getting used to (don't always remember to switch it which sometimes results in me pushing a vacuum around a room that's not vacuuming the floor)

This Vacuum has powerful suction. The hand tools are awesome. Only issue is the hand tools tend to fall off easily. No biggie, just put them to the side until you're ready to use them.

I purchased this vacuum to replace my old one which I had for about six years. I am so please to say that for the price of the vacuum you can't go wrong and it works great.

You can feel the power of the suction every time I use it. Long hose that still provides excellent suction. Good on floors or carpet. Simple to use, empty and has retractable cord with a push of a button with A great value! Can't understand why you would buy other vacuums that are doubled the price

The vacuum has plenty of adjustments to be able to vacuum all surfaces well. The roller can be turned off and on manually, so you can vacuum carpets or bare floors. Lightweight and easy to handle. Good overall vacuum cleaner.

I wanted a vacuum cleaner for both carpet and hardwood floor and this one proved to be ok. It would help if it was more powerful, but for ordinary cleaning, considering the price, it seems a good choice.

This vacuum is awesome. love that when you vacuum the floor it does not have to pull all the dirt through the hose as on my old vacuum it was always clogging the hose up. Has plenty of suction both on carpet and bare floors, totally rocks when using the hose with tools.

Was amazed when we got home and used for the first time, unreal the amount of stuff it picked up...absolutely love it, and we were former Dyson owners!

I have never had a bagless vacuum before and was a bit skeptical. Boy, was I wrong! I can't believe how well this works and how much dust was picked up. I thought my carpet was clean, but it is almost embarrassing to see how much this new vacuum picked up! Fabulous purchase!

Always used a Hoover vacuum but decided to go with Eureka because of ratings in Consumer Report. Very satisfied with the price of this vacuum and the great job it has done on my medium pile carpets. I also like how light weight the vacuum is - not hard to push around at all.

This vacuum has very good suction, but the only thing that I don't like is that every time I lean it back to adjust the height, the attachment falls off! Otherwise it is a decent vacuum cleaner.

I went to best buy to buy a vacuum cleaner since my soon to be ex-wife took ours with her when she moved out. My main goal was to get a cheap but good vacuum cleaner. What I ended up getting was a cheap but an outstanding product. I love this vacuum cleaner and I am very glad I got it. The only thing that I am not a big fan off is where all the extensions for the different modes fall off unless you store them securely somewhere other than on top of the vacuum itself.

Right away I could tell how powerful this vacuum was and I was right! The evidence was in the canister when I was done vacuuming my apartment. It is easy to handle and powerful.

The machine picks up dirt great. I love the hepa feature and the retractable cord, but the brush attachment keeps falling off.

Great working vaccuum. Three things I would cange are making it a swivel base, allowing a detatchable vaccum from the base and possibly lowering the noise.
