    Great replacement, but short cables.

I purchased this as a replacement for an 3 year old Antec High Current Gamer, that died within 5 years, (Never trust Antec again). Modular cables were great as I only had to use 2 SATA cables and two Molex Cables. The three main cables were 24 pin Motherboard, 8 pin CPU (which could have been longer to be to route thur the back of the case, but had to route it over the GPU) and a 8pin/6pin GPU. Great PSU to run a i5, 970GTX, and 3-3.5 drives/2-2.5 drives.

whopping 850 watts means plenty of power for even the most demanding systems and gamers! - easy 4 screw installation and comes with all the cables to power everything (do not use old wiring as it won't work for some reason) - very quiet also - it is bottom mounted so cleaning is required frequently to remove dust, etc.

EVGA has always made excellent products in my eyes, and this PSU is no exception to that. It's got plenty of power to run everything in my setup, and I don't worry too much about the ratings in terms of the energy consumption, since a PC doesn't really draw all that much money worth of electricity in a year anyways. Performance wise, I have no issues to speak of. It's always worked, it's always powered everything without any type of crashes or failures related to a lack of power, and has just been a great experience. I will say that the cables on this are rather bulky, so make sure that your case is going to allow you to accommodate them in the way you'd like to with regards to space and cable management before you buy it and end up being frustrated / disappointed. In some cases, it may be better to go with a fully-modular setup. All in all, I recommend this PSU with no hesitations.

I just picked this power supply up to replace one that just died. This thing is super quiet compared to my old one and I really like the modular set up on this. It’s working great and gives me options for upgrades for my pc later on.

I don't PC game anymore, so I really didn't need an 850 watt power supply. However, for the price this thing is awesome. It's modular so you can keep your case cleaner and it's quiet. Extremely happy with this purchase.

Decided to spend more on this power supply, after getting a cheap one from another brand that didn't work out. I'm so glad I got this one. Runs my Ryzen 7 cpu and RTX 3060 TI easily. And I have plenty of room to upgrade now. And the best part is it power supply is VERY quiet. I tried another brand first and that old power supply screamed at me in high pitch grinding noises. I'm only buying EVGA from now on!

I got this to replace a failing power supply in my computer. I use the computer as a home server, so it has 3HDD, 2SSD, a bluray burner and a DAT tape library (yes, tape. I know), and an advanced video card so I can occasionally game on it. Installation was a little challenging because the PSU is a little larger than the previous unit, so I had to relocate one of my case fans by about 3mm to get it to fit. The huge advantage for install is that I only used the supply cables I actually needed, so that cut down on clutter. The PSU has no problem keeping cool at high loads and is really quiet. With the extra power capacity and the 80 efficiency rating, I'd recommend this for a mission-critical computer.

I was worried that this power supply would not fit in my case, but it is about the same size as a Dell 425 watt that was being replaced. The modular design saves space and give you all the connections you need. I'm running an Rizon 1700 processor, 32 gb ram, (2) SSD & (1) harddrive and (2) AMD overclocked RX 580 graphics in Crossfire. It handles all of this with no issues.

I got this for a new PC build and after a week long burn in test, it is still running strong. Good stable current and very little heat. A great mid priced power supply.

I upgraded from an Nvidia 960 2Gig video card to a 1070 8Gig and when I went to install the card realized I only had a 550 watt power supply with one 8pin connector which was being used by the motherboard (the 960 only needed a six pin connector) I bought this power supply because it is modular and comes with 4 eight pin connectors so it will run my 1070 without issue. It was very easy to install and the modular aspect of it cuts down on unnecessary cables clogging up my case and reducing air flow. It is very quiet. I have been running this power supply for a couple of weeks and I am very happy with it.

Excellent power supply. Super quiet. Only complaint is it was a little longer than previous power supply and limits space for cable management. Yet, consistent more than adequate power that will have no problems with new graphics cards.

so I bought for my build this power supply simply for the fact that you didn't have a whole lot of power cables you didn't need taking up room only the main for the MB and CPU with the plug in for the GPU this is great so if I get future video cards or something more if I need the power its there and I have the extra cables in the box. not already on the power supply this alo gives it a clean look and install with out having the whole bunch of extra cables in the way. also the performance is awesome with my system overcloked the power is there at a constant .

I recently got an early Christmas gift of a 28" Samsung UHD monitor. MY son gave me a gently used graphics card with two HDMI out ports. The limit of my old power supply was that it did not have enough cables for the graphics card on-board fans. I did a bit of research, found this modular power supply on sale at Best Buy, so gave it a try. I used not quite half the ports of the power supply, and love the ability to plug in power cables for other uses in the future. I highly recommend this one. It was really easy to install.
