Great cable management options and quiet. Havent had power issues since upgrading.

My Windows PC started to give me some problems. One of my hard drives would suddenly disappear - the PC would not recognize it. Took the hard drive out and tested it and ALL was well. No problems detected. Reinstalled it and it worked for a while, then it was gone, PC would not recognize it. I then called and talked to a good friend of mine who also is a whiz at computers. He told me that it is very possible that the power supply is breaking down with too many drives (at least 5 years old). I have an SSD and two HDDs for data. He advised me to separate the drives with their own power leads. Did some research and decided on the EVGA 850 P/S. Main reason was this P/S had modular connectors so I could use one (1) power cable per drive. And add that I am very familiar with EVGA I found a winner. After installing the P/S I have NOT had any more problems. The PC runs better and it is as if it got a new life. I am VERY happy with this P/S and recommend it to everyone.

Purchased this PS to replace the cheap 700 Watt PS that came with my new gaming pc. The difference was immediate. With the old PS my pc was frequently freezing and re-booting. All this went away after installing this baby. Everything now runs smoothly and on top of that, it is extremely quiet. I actually had to get closer to the PC to make sure it was powered on ! Great power supply.

Overall, this is a rock solid PSU. It runs very quiet, even under load. It runs cool, and it's been very reliable so far. If you're looking for something at a reasonable price to power a mid-high end gaming rig or other high power application, this is a solid choice.

Provides more power for my new graphics card and just helps everything else keep up with what games I play.

PSU was very easy to install and has been easily handling the workload for a system with a high end graphics card, 4 HDD, and 2 SDD.

The power supply is working very well so far (it has been about 2 month now) and I'm pretty happy with it. Design is awesome - no extra cables dangling in the case - big plus of the modular design. I hope this power supply will last - this is my only concern.

I got this as a replacement for a damaged EVGA 1000W. Although the previous one was more powerful, this one handled everything without a hitch. Would definitely recommend or a gaming rig. In my case it's supporting two Radeon R9 290X without issues.

Have a large water-cooled rig with overclocked i7, SLI 1080s, a bunch of HD's and peripherals. Holding up like a champ and good price. This replaced my SeaSonic PLATNIUM that died... That's saying a lot right there.

I bought this as a replacement unit for a PSU that failed. This is the only one I could get right away and install without any major downtime. It does the job and it's quiet.

I got this PSU to replace an old one that had died. It has a good selection of cables and was easy to install. My only gripe is that the directions aren't kidding when they say that it will only work with the cords that come with it. My system wouldn't power on properly until I replaced all the cords with the new ones.

Installation was easy, and the ability to only use the cables I need is keeping the inside of the case much cleaner. However, one of the wires connecting to the main motherboard power appeared to have some melted plastic on the wire. This was concerning, but does not appear to be impacting the system, so it should be fine.

Powers a high end graphics card, Intel I5, and the rest of my components on a mid-range gaming rig. handles everything with no problems and the modular nature of the unit is EXTREMELY helpful in cable management.

I really thought this will be a tough setup since it was my first time changing my psi but its went pretty smooth. I love all the extra adopters it has since i ended uses some extra ones for my new gpu. Doesnt over heat or ever gets warm, does,not make any noise. You'll love your new psi

Awesome power supply that I got same day with in-store pick up. I only upgraded from my other premium power supply because it was not modular. This power supply is semi modular which is a lot more awesome than what I had and gave me longer cables to have more options on where I can extend my power to without having to use adapters and extensions. I just unplugged each of the old cables, plugged it in and it fired right up. I had it running for 72 hours straight at least and not a hick up. In order to not risk losing any data I didn't plug in any of the hard drives to the power supply before I turned on the power to see if I posted. Everything was perfect. Thanks Best Buy and EVGA.

Had power surge and power supply unit died ,bought Evga - 850W Modular BQ Power Supply ,installed it in about 10 minutes up and running . Easy to install. very good power supply no problems.

Snagged this for a great price, and it was installed in 10 minutes. Came with several extra cables, making the change out a breeze. Strong running, and my tower is quite happy.

Replaced a five year old 750 model power supply with this unit. Installation was easy and fast. So far, it is working fine.
