I can’t really say much, since i don’t do any hardcore testing of the power supply unit. I can just say that it works well in my updated computer system. No problems so far. I needed a new supply since my new gtx 1080ti graphics card requires a minimum of 600W. I wasn’t planning on getting 850W but saw that this price had dropped to around the prices of those with lesser wattage, so i jumped on it. So now my long term power needs are already solved ahead of time. The texture of the coated metal and the braided cord coverings give this product a high quality feel. And the partial modularity is a handy feature since I only use a handful of the power cords. I only attach the ones that i need and store the rest in the box for when I need them for new additions to my computer. Like i said, i can’t speak to the precise voltages, wattages, efficiency, and other technical details of this product, nor can I speak to its longevity. I just know that it currently works well in my computer. And evga DOES seem to have good warranties.

I bought this PSU just to start upgrading my pc components and I knew I would need a higher Watt PSU once I start getting a stronger GPU, CPU and more RGB lighting. Haven't had a single issue since I installed it over a year ago. Powers my pc perfectly while still having a bronze star power rating. Would recommend to anyone looking for a budget PSU.

Modular dressing gives great options. Runs quiet and performs as expected.

My PC was rebooting so often, I thought there was a problem with the graphics card or memory. Turns out, upgrades to my systems were taxing my power supply which when the pc was new, had 550W. When I upgraded the graphics card, it said minimum power required 500W, so I thought I had enough. Turns out the system needed MORE. This 850W installed easily and now pc hummmms!

No issues so far and is relatively easy to work with as ive jad to make several adjustments and this psu is quute easy to get in and out.

Bought this power supply several months ago and it has been working great from day 1. It's powering a vega 64, and Ryzen 7 1700x with ease. It is very quiet, heat has not been an issue and the cables it comes with are sturdy. Modular cables are great, should be standard these days. Had no trouble installing it, job took less than an hour.

My 2yr old power source by EVGA gave up the ghost, and it was a Gold edition. This one had more power, easy to install.

My power supply in my gaming rig bit the dust so I decided to buy this unit. It had really good reviews and it had more wattage than my other supply. The most important thing though was this power supply was very easy to install and had all the cables I needed to do so!

The power supply was working great when I first installed it. It seemed to produce a lot of heat and was very inefficient compared to my last power power supply a old thermaltake. I tested the power supplies with a kill-a-watt meter and the evga 850bq used about 45 watts more than the 12 year old thermaltake 750 powering the exact same system at idle. It could be a quality control problem since the power supply failed. I am once again using my reliable thermaltake power supply. The one issue I have with EVGA is the fact that I now have to pay shipping to send them this power supply that failed in the first 40 days of ownership. I thought I was buying a quality product at a good price and now I realize I could have gotten something better by the time I pay for shipping the supply back to California. Stick to buying Corsair or thermaltake power supplies, I have never had one of theirs fail.

Dependable. This isn't my first 850 BQ so I can attest to the durability. The price is right and it's an EVGA branded PSU so you can count on the warranty.

Upgraded from a corsair 750 power supply which wasnt bad but iam happier with how quiet the EVGA is
