Very nice video card. Performs well and at a decent price point.

This card rocks. I am running an HTC Vive and I increased the supersampling bc this card has power to spare. Night and day in terms of quality of my VR experience.

Like I said before it's the best GPU for the price and now have a newer model GTX1060 even more cheaper. The future of gaming, Photoshop, and Animation just got even better!!

I built a new PC in the middle of April, I will put my components at the end of the review if you have any interest in those things. I picked up a GTX 970 when I built my computer and it worked just fine for a few weeks. I thought for a similar price, I might as well have the latest and greatest from the Pascal line. This GPU blew the 970 out of the water while running at a cooler temperature. I am able to max out all of my games (Overwatch, Starcraft 2, Skyrim, The Division, Civilization 5, and Cities: Skylines). I have averaged roughly 70 FPS on Overwatch at any given time on Ultra settings. I highly recommend this over even a pair of GTX 970's, for less money. Pick one up if you can! My build: i7 6700k (SKU:4712011), Corsair H100i v2 (SKU:7313029), 32GB of PNY Anarchy DDR-4 RAM (SKU:4830102), Asus Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1, Corsair HX750i PSU, and the Nvidia GTX 1070 (SKU:5387224). All housed in a CoolerMaster Mastercase Pro 5 with a Logitech G810 keyboard (SKU:4812800), G303 Daedalus Apex mouse (SKU:4801031), and an Asus MX279H 27 inch IPS display (SKU:8767178). **Update: I returned the EVGA GTX 1070 and ordered the Nvidia GTX 1080 as of 6/17/2016. I plan to purchase a HTC Vive and I believe this will do a better job.

This card is a Beast. It eats up Battlefield, Call of Duty, WolfStein, Far Cry, The Division, Just an all around AWESOME graphics card. Took me 5 mins to switch out my old 270x and put this little firecracker in. Downloaded the newest Driver package from EVGA and boom off to playing games. A bit pricey $449 when it will be $379 when you can buy them in a month or two, But I treated myself :) Thanks EVGA and BEST BUY for making and carrying such a stellar product.

Bought this after having a r9 280x for 2 years and it does not disappoint any game i have tried at 1080p does a fantastic job at retaining max setting and any were between 80-90fps on games like Witcher 3 , Dark Souls 3, and Battlefield 4, even handles 4k pretty decent you can not go wrong with this card

Upgraded from a GTX 680 and the 1070 easily doubled, sometimes tripled the frame rates for many demanding titles. I should've waited for a cheaper, non-reference card but had the itch for instant gratification along with the fact finding one FE or not is a challenge. Runs much cooler than the GTX 1080 FE and doesn't hit its thermal limit easily.
