The system I have just upgraded has only PCI slots and Windows 7 required upgrading the video to allow proper function of some of my applications. This was the easiest and least expensive solution.

Upgraded my boss's system from XP to Win 7 when he kept getting beat up with the FBI moneypak virus. 3 monitor system and Win 7 couldn't handle the driver for an old video card. This card installed instantly with virtually no work. I was worried for a bit but this card with the PCI interface solved all the problems in a few minutes and I got to be the hero.

This is the best video card that I could put into my Pentium 4 computer. The faster ones were not compatible with my Pentium 4 PCI computer.

I was upgrading my sister's 2005 Dell dimension, it was collecting dust in the basement. In order for me to upgrade it to Windows 7 from XP, I needed to upgrade the graphics card, that can support aero. Installation was easy, and software installed with no problem.

This is a great value for the price, but would work better in an older XP box which is now obsolete.

For the money its very good. and the graphics on a older PC is fantastic, The difficult part was finding a "PCI" card only connection they are getting scarce. because the newer PCI-e16 slot is the standard today. and I wanted to bring great graphics on an older IED machine .. This card did it. While a ATi-Graphics Card is nothing more than a paper weight now.

Tried to install in an HP Pavillion a1010n. Had all the system requirements except for the recommended power supply. After installing everything, my desktop screen was all messed up and I had no toolbar. Restared the computer, it started Windows, but my desktop was gone, completely, just a black screen.... so I am stuck w/ my built-in graphics I guess...

I recommend that you don't buy this UNLESS you are trying to bring new life to an old computer (I was not). I bought this thinking that it would be better than my Intel Integrated Graphics in a computer that I bought in 2009. I was wrong - It lowered my Windows Experience Index score by a lot.
Installation will take a while, mostly due to software drivers. Don't be discouraged when you see your screen all blurry on the first boot with the card - it just needs the drivers.
Be sure to do a lot of research when picking out a new card, as there are often numbers you can compare if you dig deep enough.
For what it's for, it's a good card for the price. Buy if you know exactly what you're doing.
I ended up returning this and buying a PNY GeForce 210 that uses the PCIe bus. Just in case you wanted to know.

Replace an old 256mb card on a old Dell Optiplex GX520 with this GeForce 6200 512mb and it is working fine so far? Requirements ask for a 300 watt PSU, i am using it on a 230 watt PSU, no issues yet? I run my video editing prorgams with no problems even though i am running a supposed under powered PSU, no heating issues at all so far, use PC at least 6 hours a day and graphics card still running good.

I upgraded an old HP Desktop to Windows 10 and the integrated graphics sucked, so I ordered the Evga GeForce 6200 PCI card. I downloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia, so when the card arrived it was basically a plug-n-play setup. Graphics are 100% better now. Very easy install.

The video card did not fit into my HP 9000Z Desk top puter. I had been told that it would so that is why I ordered it. The number of the card that I need is 5188-8905
