    Great card and easy install

This was the first time I had ever tried installing agraphics card myself and was a little nervous doing so. I had just upgraded my power supply in preparation for this card to an Ultra X4 modular 600 watt. My computer case is a dell xps studio 7100 not a fancy gaming case. I took the card out of the box and was impressed by how big this card is. I uninstalled my old drivers from the ati 5450 first and then opened my case to put this new card in. It was a pretty tight fit and I had to attach the power connectors first before I put the card in because there is just no room for my fingers to get behind the card when it is already in the case. The card uses 2x6pin power connectors. Don't freak out like me when I realized I only had a 1x6pin and 1x8pin connector on my psu. I finally realized that my 8xpin connector cable could be converted to a 6xpin so I was ok. Just make sure you have the right cables. I went straight to evga website and downloaded their newest driver for the card and was gaming in no time. Mass Effect 2 is stunning, Witcher, Crysis, Metro 2033, Portal 2 all look fantastic. Card is totally silent the whole time. I have only had the card for a day so if anything happens to it I will definately update this review.

Great for the price, as I don't want to spend $300+ on a video card. I used this to replace a Geforce 470 with the thinking that I probably will buy a second one for SLI in the future for a significant upgrade. The 560 Ti gave me a modest 100 point boost in my 3DMark11 benchmark, but to my naked eye I noticed a significant improvement while playing SWTOR. Much less stuttering and framerate drops. Can't wait to SLI a couple of these together. If you have a mid-tower case, keep in mind that the power connections for this are on the end of the card, essentially making it longer then necessary.

Great card no heat issues. Plays nice with my other one from a different maker. OC software from EVGA is pretty nice for free too. Only wish the card was less than it was 1 year ago. These things haven't really dropped in price in at least a year!

First off there is a VERY low probability you're going to get a DOA graphics card. But I did and I had to return it. Really upset I had to pay shipping twice on this. Otherwise it's a great card, and I tried putting an Nvidia 560 Ti into my rig but the clock speeds were slower compared to EVGA's much more stable version with more juice to spare. I love this card, however I have the Tim the Toolman Taylor complex and I'm currently waiting for EVGA's step up program to kick in so I can trade this guy in for a GTX 680. Otherwise very pleased saw a HUGE boost in visual performance and gaming reliability over my Ivy Bridge I5-3570K's onboard Intel HD4000 graphics as to be expected. I would go with the GTX560 448 cuda cores model looking back however in the 200-300 price range.

Main reason for purchase: Nvidia 8500 GT died, but it had compatibility issues anyways (even tried to bake it to "revive" it -- no joy). Plugged this new card into an older Gateway FX7024. Power leads were a little confusing but not insurmountable. Used latest free driver download. Only issue was the FX7024 has a 500watt power supply, the minimum required for the card. The FX had two hard drives (*had!*) and would not boot past the Gateway splash screen. The troubleshoot guide suggested to get more power. I disconnected the slave drive and voila! Pretty pictures! I can crank WOW to ultra and Diablo III is sick! So, next upgrade is a power supply (650watt) to recover my lost drive. I would do it again, though!
