Great cooling, good card

Great Video Card

I use the geforce experience to optimize my games and it sets everything to pretty much the highest settings. Currently playing Mad Max and I never see the FPS drop below 60.

Absolutely great card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This card runs pre-boost at the SSC rated speeds but boosts to the FTW speeds out of the box. Also, torture testing didn't get past 56 degrees C so I'm thinking that if I wanted to push it I could still go pretty far. Bench tests are just about right on par with a stock 980 and 3dMark 2013 I'm beating 93% of all other submitted results. This is a great card!

Upgrade Towards Oculus
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been following the development of the Oculus Rift since it was a Kickstarter campaign, and rebuilt my PC with a i7 3.6GHz chip and a GTX 650 series vid card in anticipation. Four years later, upon the Oculus' release, my now ancient rig did not meet minimum specs. SO: This graphics card, coupled to a Sabertooth Z170 MOBO and 'new-gen' i7 4.0 processor, along with 16 GB of 'Ripjaws' DDR4 got me up to speed -- and WICKED speed...games look FANTASTIC, web pages flip at nearly the blink of an eye -- and pumped into a 65" Samsung 4K TV I actually had to crank down the recommended resolution, as dialog boxes popped up teenie-tiny, but clear & readable if I moved in close. Will purchase my Rift as soon as the 'Touch' controllers are released. Awesome...
