Q: gtx 960?
A: Do not get a 960! It will run closer to a GTX750TI Save up and get a 970. The 970 is running faster then my 760 SLI ever did. Also it is test just above a 780.
Q: Is this GTX 970 a "FTW" edition?
A: No, this is the SSC ACX 2.0
Q: what kind of power source is recommended for this graphics card
A: 500 Watt or greater Power Supply 2 PCI Express 6 pin power connectors, PCI Express 2.0 or 3.0 Compliant motherboard with at least one graphics slot and Windows 8.1, 8, 7 or Vista
Q: Does this card come with any free games?
A: Just recently, it looks like they've joined the Free Witcher 3 Download Code promotion that Nvidia has been running. Best Buy is offering the digital download code with purchase of the game.
A: If you are going to be doing a lot of CAD work, go with something like the Quadros. They are intended for 3D design, where as graphics cards like this are not. There are features that are active on the Quadro cards, that aren't on the Geforce cards.
Q: Can I get the game code for an in-store purchase??
A: Which game code are you referring to? I found the code for arkham knight was printed on my receipt, I had originally missed that it was right there. I'm not sure if that's the case for you as well, hopefully it is
Q: Coil Wine
A: Yes, my card has coil whine, I sold a GTX760 that had zero coil whine. I will return it as soon as I can because at this price coil whine is not acceptable.
Q: is this card already overclocked if not can i overclock it
A: It is over clocked from the factory. But you can over clock it alittle more if you want to.
